「Great location for hiking Acadia NP. Inquired if there was a fire pit, the booking agency said no, but we found out as we were leaving that there was a shared fire pit-disappointed. Stairs to bedrooms were very steep-ok for able adults, but hazardous for children and others. Enjoyed the accommodations and location.」

「Seal Harbor Cottage offered and delivered on many levels of our expectation. It is well appointed and clean. The neighborhood is excellent; ideally located relative to points of interest within Mount Desert. The bedding was superb; often a source of struggle for me personally. The rear deck provided a private and quiet respite for reading and meals. Highly satisfied with our initial experience!」

「Everything was exactly as advertised. Our family of 4 spent most of a week calling this place home base. Check in was simple and hassle free. The unit is spotless, well stocked with all the necessities, and in a super quiet neighborhood conveniently located by Acadia and Bar Harbor. Check out was as easy as check in did not consist of a long list chores. Would absolutely stay again and highly recommend!」

「The cabin was great! It was a little further from Acadia than we thought, but worked out fine for our short stay. We knew trash removal was our responsibility but struggled to find somewhere to take it. A local told us about stickers and that trash day was Thursday. Great getaway for a rustic experience. Basic and met our needs. We would come back again.」

「The cottage was nice for what we needed which was a place to shower and sleep. It was a little further from Acadia National Park (about 45 minute drive one-way). Allen was very kind and welcoming. The grounds were in need of some care and we are pretty sure there was a mouse in the cottage.」

「Location, cleanliness, amenities were all a 10, but the downstairs bed was hard as a rock, and the others were so so. Comfortable beds are a must, Invest in some better bedding and this place would be a perfect 10. I would also suggest a queen sized bed for the downstairs bedroom. Otherwise we had a great vacation visiting Acadia and the surrounding area.」

「The property was clean and as listed upon arrival. Our son loved having the water right up the the house and being able to fish. The house was well furnished, had extra blankets and adequate kitchen supplies. Any drawbacks were minor; limited food storage (pantry) space and limited local entertainment . Time to Bar Harbor/Acadia approx 50-55 min.」

「The location was perfect. The size of the house was perfect. A couple of suggestions but by no means a criticism - an additional light outside near the two stairs down would be helpful. It was hard to see and we tripped a couple of times. Wooden tongs for the toaster. Coffee pods for the Keurig with powdered creamer would be nice since we forgot our coffee and that would have been nice the first day until we could get some. Salt and pepper. 「Myself and my family stayed at this property for a week. Had a few bumps when we first got there but the property manager was absolutely amazing. Responded immediately and got everything straightened out. The property is beautiful whether you are outside or looking out from inside. Was further than I thought from Acadia but we managed. No issues with the hot water and there were 6 of us. We had fun filled days and very peaceful relaxing evenings. Wonderful rental.」

「We loved the quiet getaway this cabin provided. It was very clean. We were able to easily explore Acadia (both MDI and the Schoodic peninsula) from here.
