Great beach getaway!

This property was perfect for our little family. Easy short walk to the beach, beautiful views from the widows across the back of the house, enough space to spread out but not lose a one year old, very quiet neighborhood and short drive to Newport!

Gorgeous Views!

This house is adorable! Well appointed, has absolutely everything you'll need, and so so cute. The view is outstanding, and the main bedroom bed is one of the comfiest beds I've slept in in a very long time! Bring food and groceries because there isn't a store close by. We will definitely be back.

Perfect place to relax!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here! The location was perfect - between Yachats and Newport! The house was comfortable, well equipped and beautiful. We spent many hours walking on the beach with our dog, sipping beverages on the deck and watching the eagles. Will definitely return in the future.

Perfect Getaway

Seal Rock Cottage is a wonderful property. Amazing views of the ocean and a very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The house was well supplied, very comfortable, and clean. Management was responsive. All in all a perfect getaway.

Perfect family holiday

We came up to spend Thanksgiving week with our son who attends OSU (2 parents, 2 teens, and 2 dogs). House is beautiful, photos don't do it justice. Very spacious, and the game room was perfect to keep us entertained during chilly weather. We basically had the beach to ourselves on our daily walks. Kitchen is really well stocked with appliances, dishes, pots/pans, etc. We had a lovely visit!

King Tides get away

Everything was clean. Bed was very comfortable! There was just an odd odor in the kitchen, which I informed the rental management team about. Otherwise, had a wonderful time.

Cute Cottage with Awesome Views

The house is exactly as described. We spent most of our time on the deck overlooking the ocean. The views are very good from that vantage point. The kitchen is well-stocked and the house is clean and comfy. If you have kids, they'll love the detached game room. Thanks for a relaxing few days!

Peaceful getaway!

Such a spectacular home with everything you need! Very peaceful and relaxing! The sound of the ocean was soothing & walks on the beach were amazing! My only suggestion would be to trim down the hedges in front of the deck as they obscure a lot of the view from inside the house. I would definitely stay again!

Exactly right

The house was just right for a family of four + dog. Amazing views and a great game room. Kitchen is well stocked. The primary bed is very soft and lumpy and sofa was hard as a rock. Even with these small things, it was an almost perfect stay. We saw whales and eagles. The beach paths were no problem for us. Great week at the beach!

Great place - minor issues on cooking

We tend to cook the entire time. Would be nice to have additional casserole dish. For doing dishes, a scratch pad for washing pots and pans by hand. Additional directions on using TV but with some effort we figured it out. Additional directions as to Beach access as it seemed you walked on private property to get to the paths. Coffee grinder was broken and management was very responsive. The place was very clean and the views are fantastic. Great to bring our pet. Nice quiet neighborhood.

It's just as written!

The big attraction at this quaint home is the view from the deck. It is awesome! And the owners have thoughtfully left some good binoculars for close-ups of life on the water below. The living area is perfect and we ate every meal at the table looking out at the ocean. The kitchen is extremely well stocked, however, cabinets and trash pull-out could use a thorough cleaning. There are oceanfront windows across the entire living area. A huge fireplace (too bad you can only burn the fake compressed logs) for cool nights. Living room furniture could use some updating, but was comfortable. Plenty of towels, pillows, blankets, etc. The sheets could be a little nicer but didn't hurt our great sleep. Master bed is very soft, but not a problem for us. Biggest issue: TINY showers with very high and non-adjustable shower heads. We'd still stay here again. Worth a mention is the very very good coffe shop/bakery a mile south on the 101, Seal Rock Espresso and Bakery. The best coffee I've ever had and outstanding pastries (must try the ham and Swiss croissant)!! Sweet Homes made our check-in/out super easy and provided a very good experience.

Ocean views both up and down the coast were fantastic. Home is comfortable with all that we needed. Beach access is a short walk down the road to the beach trail.
