We stayed one night at the inn, along with our dog, and we really enjoyed it. It was very clean, comfortable, and cozy. The rooms and grounds are well-kept. The complimentary breakfast was simple and nice.

Everything was great very small but great for one night and the property had everything that was needed for a great stay even had a white noise machine as the property sits close to a busy road but it was not necessary

This property is well maintained. The bathrooms are updated and the beds are comfortable. We took full advantage of the breakfast area for game playing. The property is in great shape!

Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, continental breakfast was nice, feel and atmosphere were very pleasant. Has a down home country vibe, everything basic, but everything worked. Air conditioning was awesome, heat was fine, felt safe. Beds were soft, good quality sheets and bedding. I normally like firm beds, but these worked for me (6’4”, 210 pounds). My wife loved them. She is a neat freak and loved how clean it was.

The room was cute and cozy. The contactless check-in was great! We enjoyed the breakfast in the breakfast room as an added bonus since there isn’t a lot of choices in the area. I would definitely stay there again.

For being an older motel, you can tell the owners really made it cute. My only suggestion would be more comfortable mattresses, but everything else was great! It had a cute older charm to it and that is what we were looking for. It was affordable and breakfast was nice. Good location. We stayed to catch the CAT ferry in Bar Harbor.

The property shone with loving care—a 1951 motel updated but vintage, geraniums everywhere. It curves around a yard with Adirondack chairs and a fire pit. It’s right on the road, but that’s the point of motels. It felt more like a bed and breakfast than a motel. The Continental breakfast had many options including homemade muffins. I recommend a visit.

The walls are a bit thin. We decided to go to bed listening to a comedy act and the lady next to us banged on the walls because we were laughing in our room. I kept banging my elbow on the shower shelf because the shower was a bit narrow. Breakfast was so so. Could have used a waffle maker. Nothing is handicapped accessible so plan on being able use multiple steps. The room was clean and the contact-less check in/out was nice. We saw no staff and spoke to no one. That was handy.

The Yardarm is a lovely motel on Rt 1 in Searsport Maine. The sign stated it is 75 years young. Our room was comfortable though on the smaller side. The only two things I wished for were an ice bucket for the room and hard boiled eggs served with breakfast. I am not into bread products at breakfast, yogurt was the one protein available. I still highly recommend this lovely local motel.

Our room was basic but very clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was nice that a fridge and microwave were included. The walls are thin (we could hear our neighbors talking), but a white noise machine was provided and the only sound that woke us was an occasional door banging shut. Breakfast was basic continental and included some healthy options (fruit and yogurt); the blueberry muffins were especially yummy! Overall, we enjoyed our brief stay (as did our pup!) and would recommend as a pet-friendly facility.
