The staff were wonderful. We arrived early and Stella was able to let us preview our room to settle any worries when comparing the other places to stay in the area. The Charltroy is safe, clean, and has helpful staff as well as conveniences such as morning refreshments, local info guides, and a community library.

This is an older motel that has some renovations. The room was small and the bed a little hard but the location is great. It is an easy walk across the street to the dunes and boardwalk. The staff is great and accommodating and the pool is well done. The hotel is located in a relatively quiet area.

A great spot to getaway for the weekend. Family friendly with positive vibes. Beach passes are given to guests with a $70 deposit that’s refundable. Room was clean and comfortable. Budget friendly for those who plan for kids activities as well. If your looking to relax this area allows for it.

Staff was great, clean room, beautiful new railings and steps, and beach right across the street. Coffee was delicious in the lobby, with bagels in the morning. A big let down was they advertised HEATED POOL, it was not, it was freezing. The outdoor shower was not working either. I chose this place for a heated pool because the Ocean is too cold this time of year. And I'm to old for cold 😆.

Stayed at the Charlroy Motel for two nights and it was a nice quiet area, the rooms were very clean. The motel is located across the street from the boardwalk. Upon arrival we were greeted with smiles and a lot of great food suggestions that was walking distance from the beach. They also supplied us with free coffee and bagels every morning.

I was greeted by a nice and friendly staff, Stella. She made me feel at home after a long and late night trip. For the lady that I spoke to for my late check out, thank you for accommodating me over the phone. I left early to drive back to the airport and totally forgot to check out. I did not get a room with a balcony like i paid for and was advertised when i booked on line. Not sure if this is Hotel.com fault or the Motel. I was told that the rooms do not opem till April and there was no water in the rooms with balcony. Also as wonderful and pleasant the front desk was she did not look and realized that my reservation had a balcony when i was checking in. I hadto go back down sttairs after bring all our belongings to the room we were given and let front desk know there was no balcony. As a smoker that was an important feature of the stay for me and my family. I had to walk down the stairs in the cold to smoke, No bueno! We did get a roon of the ocean view. Communication guys!
