「Location across from the beach was very convenient. The motel is basic. Small rooms, no lounge area. It felt like a clean dorm room. Friendly staff. But don't book through Expedia--not reliable. Expedia sent the customer a confirmation for one set of dates and sent the motel a different set of dates for our stay.」

「Typical outdated room, it was clean enough to stay one night. Room was next to the parking spaces so you heard the older couples with loud bikes that were staying next door come and go. 」

「Great that it’s across the street from the beach. Plants on their front porches need some TLC and clean up around the floor where they sit. Old hotel with thin walls and floors, could hear everything on the floor above us. Otherwise, nicely decorated, clean bathroom. I would stay again, but on the top floor.」

「The Lamplight, as always, was spotless and well-maintained. The location can’t be beat- a block from the beach and super close to restaurants, shops and bars. My only wish is that each room would be supplied with its own Keurig. One of the treats of staying in a motel is waking up and having a coffee in your bedroom before you even get dressed. While coffee is available at the motel, I’d be happier not having to go outside and sometimes downstairs to get my morning caffeine fix!」

「Parking was right up to the outside facing door which was nice for checkout I could easily load my stuff up, air conditioner/heater worked very well keeping the room cool at all times, staff was super friendly and informative. Only downside was my door was near an exit I guess people were coming in and out of and my door ended up getting banged on loudly a number of times in the morning, overall for a one nights stay for the price it was a pretty good experience 」

「I've stayed here twice during the off season for local events. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is friendly. There is ample free parking on site and an elevator (in the building I stayed at, not sure about the other buildings). I would stay here again. 」

「Safe Comfortable. Clean. The bed is the most comfortable I've had the pleasure of sleeping on ,amongst 2 dozen different motels. Even the "Hilton" doesn't compare. Just all around lovely. & Joe's A nice guy. 」
