Didnt even get to stay

Received all emails including up to check in day. Property was not available. Nobody told me. Arrived with no access and no place to stay. VRBO put us in a hotel room. No rooftop with views, no kitchen, no living room, worst experience I have had. VRBO did not take care of me and my friends when they should have.

It was canceled right as I was trying to get in the door. Stood on a stoop with 4 large suit cases in an unfamiliar city only to be told that I had nowhere to stay. Top it off Seattle was booked solid. I had to scramble to find a new place. With all of that said VRBO did contact me and refunded my stay and also paid for my new stay in a hotel.

Seattle Stay

The condo was a great accommodation for my few days in Seattle! However, the area is very loud at all hours due to trucks moving in and out of the area all night long.

Inattentive host

The property itself is cute and location is ideal for exploring downtown Seattle. Unfortunately, when we arrived the housekeeping had not been addressed at all. Bed was slept in and needed to be changed, trash was full, there were dead flowers on the table, there were wet towels in the shower, there was wet laundry in the washer that had to go in the dryer, counters dirty, and there was half-eaten food items in fridge. I messaged the host and after a while my family and I began cleaning against my better judgement. I should have contacted Vrbo but I was hopeful my host would do the right thing. He finally got back to me over 24 hours later. He just apologized and said he would address it with the housekeepers. Nothing was offered to me for spending several hours of my vacation cleaning up after strangers. I have pictures and retained messages to back up my claims.

Great place to stay for a Pike Place Market Adventure

We had a great time and the location was perfect for the Pike Place Market adventure my daughters and I were hoping for! Overall the apartment was nice, except the front of the bathroom vanity was completely broken off and I was not impressed with their cleaners. We would rent again and appreciate them sharing their home with us, we made some great memories!

Great Location!

I was here on business/pleasure. First time in Seattle. We loved the location. The market is a short walk up the alley, the riverfront is two blocks, aquarium, ferris wheel, and many restaurants. We would stay here again.

Perfect for playing tourist.

Perfectly located. We had less than 3 days to enjoy all the touristy places we wanted. Located directly between Space Needle and MoPop which we did on day one, and T-Mobile Center for a concert on day 2. We also went to Seattle Art Museum that is cattycorner to the condo and literally up the alley to Pikes Market (Gum Wall) earlier on day 2. For food Noi Thai restaurant and Skillet were spectacular and close by. Day 3 we hit up the curiosities and oddities shop just down the hill, and checked out the rooftop views. The condo is adorable and was comfy for 3 adults. Also recommend getting a city pass to make it more cost effective.

Comfy bed in a tourist’s location

Great comfortable place. Location at Pikes Market can’t be beat. Would defn recommend. The description is accurate - there is noise at night and you will want to sleep with the windows open in summer for air. The alley location felt safe and clean to walk in the evenings and early mornings (I’m a female with kids). Communication with the owner was right on once the rental period started, a few missed messages ahead time. We enjoyed our stay and will book the apartment again next trip.

Perfect Location for Downtown

Literally down the alley from the gum wall and up a flight of stairs to Pike’s Market. Easy walk from Tram too. Hosts were very helpful and responsive. Downtown Seattle does have a large population of homeless and it can feel unsafe at times. But if you want to be close to downtown and public transportation this is a great rental. Elliott’s Oyster Bar was amazing for dinner … the seafood pasta was delicious!
