- Excellent location for experiencing the best Seattle has to offer. Located 1/2 block from beautiful Alki Beach with spectacular views of Puget Sound, sunsets and the Olympic Mountains. Walk to a wide variety of restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. Miles of bicycle lanes and walking paths along water’s edge. Take 12 minute, year-round, King County Water Taxi to downtown Seattle Waterfront and Seahawk, Sounder and Mariner Stadiums. Near bus line, playground and parks. Across street from the Log Cabin Museum and birthplace of Seattle.

Within walking distance of beach, restaurants, and arcade. Property host was super helpful in explaining everything about the property and how to get around Alki. It was nice to have a kitchen stocked with all appliances and dishes. Coffee and tea was provided by host.

Super clean and very close to the beach. Janet is a terrific host - very quick to respond and even met us at the house at check in to show us how everything works and answer our questions. Great location and short walk to the free shuttle to the water taxi to Seattle. Would definitely stay here again!

Such a cute cottage in the perfect location! Half a block to the water, lots of great restaurants within walking distance, while still being in a quiet neighborhood. We had a great stay. The bed was comfortable, Janet provided beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella--it was ideal for us.

Beachside paradise
We LOVED staying here. The house is adorable and the location is perfect. Janet is a wonderful host and was very communicative. What we didn’t expect was the incredible landscaping. We definitely will book again.
