「On the plus size this is a truely unique location and the people that converted this space from a dull 1970s BT building to a cool house should be applauded. It's a perfect getaway location and you're truely isolated (in a good way) but with lots of great walks and places to explore. We really enjoyed all the smuggling past nearby. Things which could be improved - this clearly was a labour of love which needs reinventing. You can feel it's all a bit tired - equipment that no longer functions,...

「A charming property, clean and with everything we needed. Julie gave us a warm welcome welcoming and was very helpful, making suggestions and recommendations for our stay. It’s a peaceful location, only a short walk from the canal - perfect for a stroll to Chichester, where the cathedral and gardens are well worth seeing. West Wittering beach is nearby too.」

「Very happy with the house, cleanliness, equipment and communication. Great location with all amenities close to hand. I would definitely recommend booking this house. The only thing I would change is I would install an outside light, as it is dark when returning at night.」

「This is one of my favorite stays ever! The approach to this cottage is down quiet country lanes with gorgeous views. The cottage itself is situated right next to a field but there is plenty of shade and a screen of trees for privacy from the road. 「Lovely hostess (Pauline) very welcoming and helpful suggesting places to eat, all of which were excellent with regard to food & atmosphere. The location of the Barn is very central and nowhere on the island is more than 45 minutes away (traffic permitting). Highly recommended!」

「Nicky and Chris' place was perfect for our four day getaway. It was extremely comfortable, and the lovely garden provided a cool and shady wonderland for our 2yr old. The cottage is a short drive to the beach and other attractions, with grocery store quite close. Our hosts were helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this delightful place. 」

「Everyone has their own view on what makes a holiday, for me and my family it was this property. A beautifully decorated and appointed 3-bedroom bungalow in a cul-de-sac location, 10 minute walk to the shops and takeaways, 3 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to the most amazing pubs and restaurants. 「Great place for a short stay, minor niggles with some cutlery not being clean and heating in the top bedroom not turning on, but everything else was fantastic. Great bedding, super comfy, had everything we needed. We had the 12 days of Christmas at the Elderflower which was close enough we did not need coats to get there. Stunning morning watching the sky at sunrise on the balcony too. Would stay again.」

「Father-in-law and brother-in-law stayed when visiting from New York - they found the property offered everything they needed and was beautifully kept. The welcome gifts were also very much appreciated.」
