“Staff courteous, but no lakeview as stated in ad. No continentsl breakfast provided as stated in ad. No ice bucket in room. No in room coffee. Very poor services for weary travellers. Choose to place my party with three dogs beside office created lots of barking as dogs heard door and all conversations at the desk.
Poor choice of placement of a party with dogs.
Awakened at 8:30 the next morning by an RCMP raid on room across from us.
Not a relaxing stay, poor amenities and multiple trains heard……

“I’ve stayed here many times. I know it’s not a five star hotel - each time before the rooms were very clean and staff was friendly and helpful. The parking is cramped but there’s not much they can do about that.
This time the new front desk staff had my reservation wrong (I booked a kitchenette room) and when I asked to be moved from the room he offered (I knew from past experience that the full time guest beside that room is a heavy smoker and the smoke drifts into the room beside), he rolled……
