「This Blenheim accommodation is new and served our needs perfectly. It was easy to find and convenient located if travelling by car The bed was huge and very comfortable. Our host was gracious and available. We felt at home and enjoyed quiet privacy. Only regret was that we had to continue on our journey.」

「The cottage and the experiences; starlit bath, extremely well equipped kitchen, fascinating wine tasting, all exceeded my expectations, the big well fenced garden and well planned off lead walking around the vineyard was perfect for our dog. I can see why they have lots of repeat visitors.」

「Set in a very quiet back part of garden the unit was very comfortable and clean. The hosts were lovely and friendly and the unit had good kitchen capability with, kettle, toaster, microwave and full oven. Large fridge freezer and basic tea/coffee provisions.Perfect size for a couple and great we could have our dogs with us as great little off lead dog park 2min walk away. Would definitely stay again. 」

「A great place to stay for a couple... and, in our case, two small dogs. Everything you need, although no freezer or laundry facility. The fridge is a wine fridge but it's huge and was plenty big enough for our needs. Tons of room, excellent bathroom, comfortable bed, wifi, large tv. Easy access to Havelock and Queen Charlotte Sound, Blenheim, Picton, and Rapara Beach (no good for swimming but awesome ruggedness), plus heaps of wineries to explore.」

「We loved our stay. Lovely grounds and close to many wineries. We rented bikes from Mandy and, on the bike path and small roads near the Homestay, visited four local vineyards for tasting and lunch. Just a caution, these generally need to be prebooked. A wonderful stay overall」

「We loved staying at the Kings Domain. It was stylish, super clean, comfortable and well located. It was a great base for the activities we had planned around Blenheim. Communication with the property manager was great. Highly recommend. 」

「It was great to get away with our blind dog in a dog friendly property with a fabulous view. We so enjoyed waiting and watching for the ferry's and trains. We also loved Mills Bay Mussels and a few wineries. Stocked up on wine. Loved the natural nature of the area.」

"The motel is located in a tranquil area, conveniently near the city centre. The room is clean and spacious. However, I wish the hotel manager were more welcoming and less calculative when guests ask for small extras, like 20ml of shampoo or one extra toilet roll. Additionally, the portable kitchen stove is not very effective."
