Location, location, location
This unit was the perfect place to stay for our first visit to Sedona! 90% of Uptown Sedona was within a one mile walk. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. Steven was good to work with and very detail oriented. There is so much to see and do, and the views are gorgeous! Price for the stay was cheaper than the nearby hotels with much more privacy. Next time we come to Sedona, we will definitely stay here.

Ideal location!
Ability to stay without a car was important to me. Very comfortable although a little starkly furnished. Needs more kitchen utensils, etc. to cook at home. Nice to have neighbors closeby since I was staying by myself most of the time.

Lovely place in a lovely town
My friend and I were there for a get away. We really enjoyed the property for its location, comfort and included parking. We could easily walk to restaurants and shops. It was quiet and the A/C worked well. The owner was very nice and we had a wonderful time. Would definitely stay there again!

Great Location
The location was great. Walking distance to anywhere in town. It was clean and comfortable. We read alot of negative reviews prior to booking and were a bit nervous to do so. However, I am glad we did. The owner is a strong personality type. But I understand the world is made up of different types of people. He was not overbearing during our stay. We only spoke with check-in and when we had an issue with our microwave. I would stay here again.

This condo was very clean, very nice appliances, good size bathroom with walk in shower, with double sink and bed was comfortable. Just exactly like the pictures. The location is awesome and beautiful! Walk to restaurants and shopping. There is a neat little museum at the end of the street that we walked to one afternoon. Check in is different but not an issue for us. Its obvious Steven works really hard to insure his properties are welcoming and in good condition. He is a text message away should you need anything. Great location
My son and I stayed there for an extended weekend. The location was great. Sedona brewing company was a couple of blocks away, and downtown was only a few blocks passed that. Steven was easy to work with, making check in/check out simple and quick. His place was as advertised, clean, and conveniently located. I will definitely stay there again next time I’m traveling to Sedona

Clean, well managed, well decorated, within walking distance of trailheads and uptown Sedona shops. Walk and save yourself the hassle of parking. We were pleasantly surprised to find the unit has a washer and dryer! Will stay here again and plan to share info about this VRBO unit with friends and family.

Overall a decent time. Excellent location. Check-in process can be off putting. Owner prefers texting and a verbal orientation which would have been better suited for the renter if everything was spelled out in a book located inside the property. That would save both parties a little time with questions regarding “rules” and check out expectations.

WARNING. Bizarre and stressful. The owner's rage and aggression ruined our Sedona trip. Left early.
Owner requested constant arrival status updates. I sent several messages so he would know when we were arriving. The owner replied once with a wall of text with details about the rental buried between lengthy rants about past renters who had wronged him. I arrived at his shop at 3pm and he was not there. His employee started that he was in Phoenix and would not return for several hours. I let him know I rented Unit 2 and he provided me with the keys and directions to the condo, just down the road. He informed me that it was just cleaned. It was a normal friendly interaction. Thirty minutes later we were frightened by an irate man pounding on the door. It was the owner and he was furious we were inside the condo before the 4pm check in. My wife and children were hiding in a bedroom because of his unstable behavior. He was shaking with anger. He screamed, yelled, and berated me for a solid ten minutes. He threatened to kick us out several times. I was never given a chance to explain my side or even speak. His behavior and what he was saying made no sense in the situation. I was very compliant because I thought things could get violent. I also wanted to salvage our family vacation. I never demanded a key and didn't realize being at the shop an hour early was an issue. The employee who happily gave us the key. If we had been asked to come back later that would have been fine. We could have easily walked around the village for an hour. We were not in a rush to check in. We were caught totally off guard by the owner's erratic behavior. Later in evening more texts were sent with rants about locking doors, operating blinds, light switches, putting feet on table, food in rooms. My responses were kept short and polite to limit communication. My wife and I both were anxious and unable to sleep. We were afraid that the owner could be come back at anytime and launch into another tirade. We were worried it could get violent and did not feel safe. We made the difficult financial decision to leave and get a hotel. We left Sedona sooner than planned. I called VRBO and spoke to their incident center at length before leaving. They documented the incident, offered no support, and told me to call the authorities if needed. Before booking please consider this experience. Do you want to risk ruining your vacation and losing your money? Do you want to be harassed by a high conflict personality with unpredictable rage? Owner has 5 rentals in Sedona. BEWARE.

Great location near Uptown Sedona
The condo was very clean and comfortable with excellent parking on site. It is just a short walk to Uptown Sedona for shopping. I would recommend this condo to my friends and family.

Awesome Value for Comfort and Convenience to downtown Sedona
We will be back! Our stay was just as it was rented to us. Very comfortable, convenient and clean. Full size kitchen with updated appliances. Plenty of starter supplies. We were there for 4 days and we had plenty of supplies. Easy parking at the condo and easy walk to downtown Sedona. Parking is tricky around restaurants and shopping so we just left our car and walked. Uber would have been $5. but decided to walk because it was a beautiful night. Owner communication was good and key pick up and drop off was not a hassle. Would recommend, most especially for value and location.

The location of the property was great, close to everything and short walk to Sedona Beer Company, which I highly recommend! Check in was easy, communication by text was great , condo just as pictured and was very very clean. Lots of rules , lots of do’s and dont’s . I would not recommend this location if you have small kids, this would be adults only.

Immaculate rental in fantastic location
This rental was an excellent value in Sedona. The price was fantastic for the size and location compared to other rental options. The kitchen is spacious with new full sized appliances and plenty of room to prepare meals but tools are a little limited so be sure to take inventory before tackling any major meals. Walking distance to the main strip with tons of restaurants and bars. Great views from right outside the property. No lockbox so checking in is a little more time consuming and requires more communication, but Steven is available just down the street and is quick to respond.

Great condo, great location! Very clean and well taken care of. Would prefer no contact when picking up key, however owner very nice & respectful. Our home from home.
This was our second stay at this property and we wouldn't stay anywhere else. Everything you need is right there. Spacious bedrooms with huge wardrobes, bring extra hangers. Excellent comfortable beds and a very quiet area creates enjoyable nights sleep. Beautiful bathroom with huge walk in shower, 2 sinks and lots and lots of drawer and cabinet space. Kitchen has everything you need plus a huge fridge freezer with ice maker, a double sink and a door out into your own furnished and fully enclosed patio, these are the little things you don't know till you get there. There is even a washer and dryer. The lounge is comfortable with large TV but you will probably not be there much because you are right on the doorstep of loads of shops and restaurants, the beer distillery is right next door with a patio that has views of the red rocks surrounding you. Everything you need is just a short walk away.

The place was nice, but walls are very thin. The location is by far the biggest selling point as it is very close to town and beautiful views all around. The first impression of the owner was a very lengthy email requesting us to check in with him on multiple occasions prior to our arrival…….a week out, a couple days prior, the day of and as we are arriving in town. The check in process was very uncomfortable as he required us to come to his place of work to pick up the key and listen to an orientation that he had already emailed us that day which was all about what previous renters have done wrong to him or to the place. Certainly not a very welcoming feeling. Upon arrival we found there were no hangers in the closet and no ice. We asked for some ice trays if the ice maker was broken but were just told that he had “no idea whats up with the ice maker” but he did deliver us some hangers. After doing our best to read and follow all of his directions, when it came time to check out, we had no idea where to leave the key. Not wanting to make the list of “what the previous renters” had done we waited for his response for an unnecessary amount of time until we took a guess as to where the leave key and luckily got it right. Perfect Get Away
A clean spacious place near hiking and restaurants. Walls are a little thin and we could hear the neighbors the second night. It might of been easier to just go straight to the unit and punch in a code etc but it was good to meet the owner before going to the place. Would definitely return.

We were made to feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable, which had a significant negative impact on our vacation. It started with an awkward, inconvenient check-in process. Prior to arrival, we were sent extensive instructions (via email and text messages) that included many rants about prior tenants - what they had done wrong, what they had broken. We were not to put food in the garbage disposal, feet could not be put on any furniture, shoes had to be placed in one of two acceptable locations, blinds on windows were not to be raised.... The owner wanted us to provide him with our travel details and ETA a week prior, days before, and multiple times on the day of arrival. We had to meet the owner in multiple locations prior to getting access to the unit. And the owner insisted on doing a duplicate, in-person orientation of the same information, inside the unit, and he did not wear a mask. It made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. There were multiple issues with the unit (some cleanliness, some safety). The owner was responsive, but we found him to be very unfriendly in all correspondence. He came to the unit multiple times during our stay without wearing a mask. The owner claims this "luxury condo" is "best place in Sedona" and that "QUALITY BEST DESCRIBES THIS PLACE" but it is full of cheap appliances and furnishings that make this place barely functional.

We Love Sedona
The owner was very responsive to our needs. Before arriving I had informed him that we love to cook and grill our meals. The condo did not have a grill so we purchased a small portable one and Steven paid for it. We chose this home because of location and we were extremely pleased with it. We discovered a nice local brewery less than 2 blocks away that was perfect for refreshing after our daily hikes. Just up the street there were several trails to hike and the Sedona museum. Our only regret was we had to head back to Michigan two weeks early due to the Coronavirus guidelines.

Great communication with owner. Respect rules in place because the place is immaculate. A rare commodity in homes we rent these days so it’s so much appreciated. Kitchen could use a few more gadgets (as simple as a spatula and scraper) to make cooking in much easier and to ensure the safety and quality of your cookware. A great visit and great place to rent. Will be back.

To make the experience even better add blackout curtains to the two bedrooms. We experienced a full moon during our stay. Double check the batteries of your smoke dectors. Overall we were very pleased. Cheers

Uptown Sedona - March, 2019
The condo was conveniently located within walking distance of many shops and galleries. It was clean and well-maintained. The beds were very comfortable. The only negative was that it lacked any charm; a few pictures on the walls would have made it feel homey. But you can't beat the location. Red rocks surround you, only 2 hours away from grand canyon or Phoenix. and so many places to hike and explore, or shop depending on your preferences.

Clean and a great location!
We had an exceptional stay at this condo during New Years. Centrally located in uptown Sedona, we were able to walk to shops and restaurants without having to hassle parking. The unit was very clean and new. Much more spacious than just a room at a hotel so it was perfect for our family of 4 to spread out. The beds were comfortable as was the sofa and lounge chairs in the LR and having a kitchen was a plus. Steven was easy to communicate with and was very accommodating to a special request we had. We will definitely rent this unit on our next visit.

Great location and clean condo
We loved the location of this condo; within walking distance of a lot of shopping, tour offices and restaurants, but far enough off to be nice and quiet. Parking was right on the premises and there was laundry (no soap, but we had brought some) and a beautifully updated kitchen with all the amenities. We had an issue the morning of day 2 with the shower being clogged and low water pressure, and the manager responded by getting that fixed that evening. We were told there was a broken blind in the bedroom and not to open it, to use the pole and twist it. My husband did that to let some light in. When Steven showed up to fix the shower with his handyman, his first question was "who had touched the blind and why would we touch a broken blind?" He then proceeded to enter and leave several times with his handyman without taking their shoes off. It was made very clear in his list of rules that shoes were to be left by the door. The 3rd morning, I received a message stating he'd be there to fix the blind and not to open the blinds (he did not just say the broken one). So, beautiful sun outside and we made coffee and started our day with the blinds closed. He also texted me that he would be adding to the list of rules, no feet on the coffee table; it was unsanitary. My husband had his feet on the table during the shower fix. His demeanor was not welcoming and I felt like we were a problem, not a paying customer. The condo sleeps 4, but had two wine glasses - could use a little more glassware, otherwise the kitchen was very nicely stocked and the bathroom boasts two sinks which was very nice.
