Stay in one of Sedona's most storied homes. Built in 1985 by architect Dick Caviness for jazz icon Tom Doeller, founding president of the Sedona Jazz Festival, this curved brick landmark opens like a telescope toward Coffee Pot and Thunder Mountain, with a wall of windows framing the red rocks.
Sleeps 14 in 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. Heated pool, hot tub, cedar sauna, and a hidden jazz speakeasy. In West Sedona, minutes from trails.
The Space:
Welcome to the Doeller House, one of Sedona's true architectural landmarks. Designed in 1985 by renowned architect Richard "Dick" Caviness, the home was built for jazz devotee Tom Doeller, a founding member and president of the Sedona Jazz Festival who once interviewed legends like Ella Fitzgerald on his radio show. After a full restoration, it has been rededicated to the family and their love of jazz.
The design is unlike anything else you will stay in. A curved brick facade and a two-story wall of windows open the living space "like a telescope" toward Coffee Pot and Thunder Mountain, so the red rocks are the centerpiece from the moment you walk in. At 2,153 square feet across two levels, the home is built for both entertaining and easy relaxation, and comfortably sleeps up to 14.
What you will love:
Brand new heated pool with a hot tub alongside it in a private paver courtyard
Cedar sauna on its own wellness deck
A hidden jazz speakeasy, a one of a kind nod to the home's history
Soaring living room with a semi-circular leather sofa, brick gas fireplace, and bar area
Floor to ceiling windows with panoramic red rock and mountain views
Bedroom 1, main level: King with private ensuite bath
Bedroom 2, lower level: Queen
Bedroom 3, lower level: Queen
Bathrooms:
Bath 1: Ensuite to Bedroom 1, tub and shower
Bath 2: Main level, full bath with shower
Bath 3: Lower level, full bath with shower
The main level is the heart of the home, with the living room, gourmet kitchen, and a dining table set against a wall of red rock views. Outside, the pool and hot tub sit together at ground level in a private paver courtyard, while an upper deck holds the cedar sauna, and a separate deck offers dining and a propane BBQ. You are in the heart of West Sedona, minutes from world class trailheads, shopping, and dining.
Whether it is a family gathering, a group of friends, or a milestone celebration, this home gives everyone room to spread out, a story worth telling, and a view worth waking up for.
*Pool Heating* - There is an additional cost to heat the pool of $125 per night, with a 3 night minimum.
