“Stayed here for the Fourth of July and the experience did not disappoint. We were upgraded to a bigger room and didn’t have any issues with extending our stay by a day. The staff were super nice and professional and the complimentary bottle of wine was a fun way to end the trip. The hotel is also just a few hundred feet from the Gondola, which made it easy to get to/from the town of Telluride. It would be nice if the dining area was opened up to the patio so people could sit outside for……

Probably a bit overpriced compared to some other properties nearby. We were attending the bluegrass festival and that was fantastic!”

“We’ve stayed at The Peaks on several occasions, and sadly, this trip was incredibly disappointing. From the moment we checked in, the experience was poor. The front desk employee was curt and provided virtually no information about the hotel or amenities. We weren’t told that the pool was under construction, the waterslide was closed, the game room was closed, or that the restaurant wasn’t open. “Summer Visit. Free shuttle to village & gondolas with was great, giving access to the Village area and the town of Telluride, below—drivers friendly. The bed was comfortable & a nice bathroom. What was NOT GREAT was everything else: TINY ROOM—We ordered a room w/king bed, but a bunk-bed was added in the narrow area before the sleeping area. There was nowhere to sit—not even a chair. Crowded to walk by each other. AN (unexpected) EXTRA $30 A NIGHT for (INADEQUATE) PARKING—cars were parked……

“The curtains to eliminate light were the worst I have experienced. It was essentially daylight all night long. The AC was as loud as having a truck idling in the room. I wouldn’t expect anything to be done about the AC noise due to the cost of a new system, but the light issue alone would prevent me from ever lodging there again. “This is a really funky, quaint historic hotel. Great location, you can walk all over Silverton and to the shops and restaurants. My son and I stayed on our way through to our home in Northern Colorado. We were in the two bedroom room. The beds were super comfortable and we slept really well.
