I give this place five star because of the location and The view. You would be facing an outstanding view of mountains and a lake in front of the property. To me this was most valuable part of this stay. The furniture furniture was dated but usable overall somewhat comfortable. We arrived very late and the staff was very nice to accommodated us. they checked us in even though they mentioned that the latest time to check in is 8:00 p.m. Breakfast was included which was great. We enjoyed having breakfast next to the lake and the mountain. You need to be aware that this place is not non-smoking. Our neighbor was a heavy smoker and we were getting somewhat irritated by that. You also need to be aware of mosquitoes since this place does not have air conditioning you end up leaving the doors and windows open in the summer so mosquitoes will have a good delicious dinner. Overall I was pretty happy with this day I will definitely come back.

Schönes Hotel in fantastischer Lage. Sehr nettes Personal. Leider sind die Zimmer etwas abgewohnt und die Zimmer im Nebengebäude nur über Treppen erreichbar (ungünstig für ältere Gäste oder Gäste mit großem Gepäck). Das Frühstück ist leider jeden Tag das gleiche, bietet keine Abwechslung. Das A-la-Carte-Restaurant hingegen ist hervorragend.

Absolutely stunning views from room and restaurant. I stayed in the Naturhus, and my room was a little dated, but I was there for the lovely balcony overlooking the lake. If you want a more updated room, choose one in the main building.

Hotel und insbesondere das "Naturhaus" stark in die Jahre gekommen – es scheint nichts investiert zu werden. Tische und Stühle auf dem Balkon nicht mehr nutzbar, Balkongeländer heruntergekommen, Stoffbezüge im Zimmer gerissen. Im ganzen Zimmer waren lange schwarze Haare. Auf Nachfrage wurde nochmal punktuell gesaugt, aber der Zustand wurde nicht vollständig behoben. Aussicht von der Frühstücksterrasse sehr schön, Frühstücksbuffet auch gut und ausreichend. Bei Stoffzeiten kann es sehr eng werden. Würden wir wieder hingehen? Vermutlich eher nicht.

Das Hotel liegt in einer hervorragenden Lage. Unser Hotelzimmer war sehr schön ausgestattet In der Nähe des Hotels gibt es auf dem Berg einen wunderschönen See, den man unbedingt besuchen sollte – absolut empfehlenswert! Vom Hotelzimmer aus hat man einen traumhaften Blick auf den Vierwaldstättersee, was den Aufenthalt noch besonderer gemacht hat. Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze direkt vor dem Hotel. Alles in allem war es ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt. Besonders das Frühstück mit der tollen Aussicht war überragend!

Nice clean basic rooms. Beautiful views. Staff was friendly. Free breakfast with nice options. Beautiful views. Dining room for dinner. Food for dinner was not very good. I did not like that smoking is allowed on balconies in the rooms. Smoke kept coming into the room and since this property does not have a/c it was not pleasant.

Une vue splendide - pas de regret sur mon choix

Magnifique vue! Indiscutable! Grande chambre agréable et lumineuse malgré la météo que j'ai eu (pluie et nuage 😉) Dans l'ensemble bon séjour mais il y a de beaux axes d'améliorations. Je recommande quand même cette hotel malgré les remarques ci dessous 🙃 reposant et ressourçant. Petit déjeuner tout à fait correct avec une vue à couper le souffle. Gros point positif. Propose un restaurant pour diner. Tout à fait correct côté plat mais cher pour ce que c'est. On paie la vue peut-être. La serveuse était très sympathique et était en apprentissage. Bon séjour mais attention aux details, ménage et équipements. Attention aux cheveux sur les serviettes et oreillers/literie même si cela etait propre dans l'ensemble. Cendrier avec des mégots sur la terrasse du précédent passage! Une fois demandé de le nettoyer, cela a était fait avec la chambre. Merci pour la réactivité. Voir pour changer le mobilier extérieur (vieux). Changement impératif à faire selon moi, le rideau de douche en le remplaçant par une vitre cela évitera de mettre de l'eau en dehors du petit bac et sera plus hygiénique. Petit plus à proposer pour les touristes étrangers un vrai lit double :) car deux couettes et deux sommiers séparés ce n'est pas un lit double. Matelas à changer car très mou et quelque chose grince/couine quand on bouge. Pas de prise à coté du lit. Vraiment dommage. Voir pour mettre un mini frigo et bouilloir mais c'est sûre que cela demandera plus de temps de ménage. Parking sur place gratuit.
