「My stay at this hotel was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful from the moment I arrived. I was charged an additional fee for parking, yet there were no available spaces in either parking lot.
The room itself was unacceptable. It smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, there was no hot water, and, most concerning, the doors would not lock properly, creating a serious safety issue.」

「My key wasn’t available upon arrival and we had to wait a few extra minutes before we could get into the room. The rooms had flies in them but the entire area had flies so it wasn’t completely house keeping’s fault. Some of the sheets weren’t clean. The pull out bed was uncomfortable. The bathrooms need some tlc. Water pressure is decent, rooms were spacious and tv’s are very small.」

「I feel bad having to leave a poor review overall as the owner was very accomodating and resjponsive but there are some big concerns I wish I had known before I rented. On the accurate side, the location is outstanding. I had seen the cottage on a previous trip and knew we wanted to be smack on the boardwalk. It is before season so the beach was all ours. Kitchen and bathroom are dated but clean.
On the " not good but maybe not a dealbreaker given the location" was the shabbiness- inadequate...
