「A beautiful setting with wonderful staff, even if one or two lacked attentiveness. The bamboo bungalow was beautiful. The bed and beddings were 5/5; very comfortable. Unfortunately, the accolades stop there. Because the "retreat" is so remote, there are no other eating options nearby so guests have to rely on the hotel restaurant. As good as the food was (save for the cold soups), the options were very limited. This was unacceptable given we were the only guests and the menu was not extensive at...

「When we arrived at the hotel they did not have our booking in their system and looked very surprised to see anyone there. We were the only guests at the entire hotel, but they still did not have a room available for us at 3.30pm when we arrived. We got our room at 4.30pm but was told we should wait 1 hour with using the private pool as they had just put in the chlorine. The rooms are a bit messy and dusty. We actually went there to look for a potential wedding venue, the people we were supposed...

「This place has good views from the pool deck it’s a shame there is no umbrella so you can sit out there for long periods. pool lights were broken. one light not working the other one dim not a nice atmosphere at night unfortunately. also garden lights not working. and need more lights for atmosphere too dark at night. a lounge chair would make this place more comfortable. instead of 2 sets of table and chairs. for the price it could be much better with a few changes. large pool is the best part....
