We loved Maya resort! It is truly beautiful and relaxing, with picturesque infinity pools and tranquil setting, as well as complimentary morning yoga sessions. Everything was perfect! Reasonable pricing and great quality food! Highly recommend!!

Staff was very helpful and everyone from cleaning to pool were very nice. The pools were amazing, especially the adult only one. We tried a few experiences: Teppayanki: great taste and friendly chef, was a lot of fun. Only negative is the sauce maybe been a bit too buttery In villa dining: the staff set up a nice table and BBQ in our villa. The food was fresh off the grill and delicious with very generous portions.

The resort was incredible - beautiful property. The room and private pool were very serene. I loved that you could reserve a breakfast box because I left many mornings quite early to see the sunrise at different locations. They prepared a box for me to take on my trips each morning. The only thing I could criticize was that dinner service was a bit slow. It was a wonderful place to stay and I will definitely be back!

Singapore, Singapore 112 Our peaceful haven above the Ubud crowds Review of Maya Ubud Resort & Spa Reviewed 1 week ago I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Maya Ubud in August 2026. The hotel grounds are stunning — extensive, beautifully maintained, and nestled deep in nature. It's a joy to relax by the pool while taking in the steep, tree-covered cliffs that plunge into the river gorge below. The breezes are wonderfully cool and fresh, never chilly, thanks to the warm sun. Service was impeccable — attentive, kind, and genuinely enthusiastic. All the staff were wonderful, especially Sumi and Dewi, who went above and beyond. The Mat Pilates class was excellent too. Ubud itself was quite crowded during our visit, which made us appreciate the hotel's own offerings even more — two pools, three restaurants (the Western food was particularly good), and cultural dance performances every single night. We left feeling completely refreshed.

Maya Ubud genuinely felt like heaven. It is one of those places where the setting is as much a part of the experience as the hotel itself. The resort is surrounded by nature, rice fields, forest and the river valley, so it feels incredibly peaceful and removed from everything even though you are still close to Ubud. Walking around the property was an experience on its own. We stayed in the Maya Presidential Villa and the photos online honestly do not do it justice. It is enormous, around 950 square meters, and feels much more like having a beautiful private home in the middle of nature than staying in a hotel villa. The space, privacy, pool and surroundings really need to be experienced in person. The staff were wonderful throughout our stay, always warm, thoughtful and attentive. We had friends over one evening and the team prepared a private BBQ dinner for us at the villa. A special shoutout to Yoga or Yogal, who took care of us for the BBQ and made the evening especially memorable. Maya actually offers this as an in villa grill experience with a private chef, and I would definitely recommend doing it if you are staying in one of the villas. I genuinely did not want to leave. If you are coming to Ubud and want somewhere that feels peaceful, immersed in nature and completely different from a normal resort, Maya is very special. I would come back without hesitation.

Loved stay at Maya Ubud! The location was great for going into town but I honestly didn't want to leave the resort! I loved the adult infinity pool. My room was great with a comfortable bed and turn down service. The dance shows at dinner were fun too. I do recommend taking bug spray if you walk on the riverside trail; I got at least 40 mosquito bites on a very short walk there. I also recommend a trip to the spa!

The property grounds are incredibly extensive and meticulously well-maintained—every corner feels like a lush, tropical paradise that seamlessly blends into the natural jungle. The overall environment is deeply serene, offering the perfect peaceful escape from the bustling center of Ubud. ​Two highlights truly stood out for us: First, the riverside spa is world-class. Having a massage right by the rushing river, surrounded by nature, was an incredibly therapeutic experience. Second, as a family with dietary preferences, we were thrilled by the breakfast spread.
