I have to say that our trip to Seligman was lovely! The people were so kind and the entire street had so much personality! Great food too! The Postcard Motel was perfect with its location, and charming blend of modern and vintage fixtures. It really was a great stay! I highly recommend staying here!

The motel has a great location, right on the main street, with all the Route 66 attractions related to the movie Cars just across the road. Everything is within walking distance, which is definitely a big plus! The room was clean, but the beds weren’t particularly comfortable. We understand that this is an older motel, but the mattresses could really use an upgrade. Another issue was the bathtub drain, which didn’t work at all. While I was taking a shower, the water just kept filling up the tub instead of draining. Even after I finished, the water stayed there. That was really unpleasant. One more thing we found strange was the complimentary tea setup. There were tea bags and disposable paper cups, but no kettle or any other obvious way to heat water. Were we supposed to heat it in the microwave? Especially with paper cups? It just didn’t make much sense to provide tea without a proper way to prepare it. Overall, it’s a pretty standard older motel with a fantastic location. The cleanliness was good, but the comfort and a few basic amenities could definitely be improved.
