A very enjoyable stay

The house is situated in Sencelles, a small village in the center of Mallorca. The neighborhood is very pretty and calm and its location makes it easy to reach most of the beaches in the island. We had some issues with parking because there are only a few spots inside the village otherwise you have to park 5/10 minutes away from the accommodation on foot. Overall our stay was really nice. We had to make the payment through Homerti (a Spanish rental agency) but everything went well, they replied to all our questions and there were no problems with check in or check out.

In einer Sackgasse gelegenes wunderschönes geräumiges Haus auf zwei Stöcken. Schöne alte Möbel, lauschiger Platz am Kamin, grossartiger zentraler Esstisch, zwei moderne Badezimmer. Geschirr reichlich vorhanden, Küche allerdings etwas mager ausgestattet mit auf ihr Funktionieren zu überprüfenden Geräten (Ofen, Toaster). Das fiel aber nicht ins Gewicht, da wir nur zu Morgen assen und uns anderweitig zu helfen wussten. Etwas befremdend wirkten auf uns zwei Videokameras in Wohnbereichen, die laut Betreiber ausgeschaltet waren: Sind die wirklich nötig? Im Winter war es im Haus etwas frisch, aber wir konnten die vorhandenen Heizstrahler gewinnbringend einsetzen. Alles in allem ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt im hübschen ruhigen Sencelles: Es gibt hier zwei Lebensmittelgeschäfte, die bis 21 Uhr geöffnet sind, zwei Bars und ein ausgezeichnetes Restaurant namens "Sa Cuina de N'Aina". Viele der anderen Restaurants waren zwischen Weihnachten und Neujahr geschlossen.

Sehr gemütliches Haus

Ein sehr gemütliches Haus, praktisch in der Mitte der Insel. Von hier aus haben wir mit einem Mietwagen die gesamte Insel erkundet. Das kleine Dorf ist sehr ursprünglich mit netten Cafés und Restaurants. Sehr authentisch. Sympathische Nachbarn.. Das Mobiliar ist zwar etwas altbacken aber sehr gemütlich und die Steinwände gepaart mit den vielen Holzakzenten ließen uns in dem Haus sehr wohl fühlen. Gerne wieder!

Buen alojamiento en general. Es una casa tradicional mallorquina, pero reformada con buenas calidades. Muy limpia (salvo el horno...) y con detalles de llegada (fairy, bayeta, pastillas lavavajillas, detergente lavadora, etc.) Agradecimos el aire acondicionado, ya que nos ha pillado una ola de calor y nos salvó las noches. Bien situada y buenas comunicaciones con zonas de interés. A mejorar la falta de armarios y el olor a humedad en las cajoneras, así como que estaban ocupadas por enseres de la casa (mantas, almohadas, cajas, etc.); por lo que tuvimos que dejar la ropa en las maletas. El menaje de cocina, también mejorable: está un poco deteriorado. Platos, vasos y cubiertos abundantes. También hemos echado de menos que hubiese disponibles sombrillas de playa. Pero en general es un alojamiento muy recomendable, espacioso, con el sabor de lo tradicional pero instalaciones modernas. Lo recomendamos para pasar unos días y conocer la isla.
