Nice house, poor management.
There are several reasons why this isn’t your best choice for a Mallorcan holiday.
The main reason is the noise: the house is advertised as quiet, but it’s right under the airplane route to the airport. This means roaring jets every 3 minutes, right over your head, day and most of the night. Conversation halts around the beautiful pool, and sleeping with open windows is impossible.
The second reason is the nonchalant management. The bedrooms have tiny, uncomfortable beds and flimsy, old, synthetic sheets. Ugh. A small investment would improve this hugely.
We reported a terrible smell problem in the front bedroom (from the septic tank), which elicited a ChatGPT response (we are sorry, we strive for excellence, will take matters to heart etcetera) and was then meticulously ignored afterwards. The smell was a known problem: there were scented sticks and toilet fresheners in the room to try and mask it. Failed, alas.
The house does have potential, it’s cosy and the pool is super, but you can find much better for the same money. The location cannot be changed but lying about it doesn’t help. No points for the agency, either. Overall, we felt like we’d been had.
