Great place for us & our friends to enjoy the weekend on the beautiful lake. Such a beautiful home with the best lake house vibes. Very spacious & equipped with every thing you would need to make your stay cozy & comfortable. The best part was the serene setting which makes you feel like you're truly getting away.
This was an excellent lake house stay for my family including my wife, adult children, and two young grandchildren. The house was clean and well maintained with an exceptional, large screened in porch with a beautiful view of Lake Keawee. The boat dock was perfect for launching kayak and boat trips, short swims, and enjoying the evening sunsets.
We will definitely come back to this property again.
Just spent wonderful week at this great house on Lake Keowee. Perfect location, close to shopping and restaurants. Secluded cove across from marina. Great layout. Well equipped home in very nice neighborhood.and great host .Lots of room for our family of seven with 2 young children. Already looking at returning next summer.
This house was a great place to rent. The location on the lake was great and the house was minutes from town. The deck is screened in with a swing. That was very nice to sit outside at night and play games. The game selection was great. The downside was the 50 stairs to get to the water from the deck.
Lake house was perfect. Great layout, beautiful views and amazing screened porch with the best porch swing. Plus, it was an easy, quick drive into Clemson.
Great location, close to Seneca, Clemson, and the mountains of the Upstate. Amazing water access. Spacious well laid out house with an incredible screened in porch. Also, top notch communication from the host. Thanks so much!
This house is beautiful and so much space. We were there with family and the open kitchen/dining room/living room is great for conversation. The bedrooms are all nice with super comfortable beds. The location is awesome! You are close to the marina on the lake but you’re close to town and grocery stores, restaurants etc. Overall we had a great time and can’t wait to go back next year.
Beautiful and comfortable lakefront home with plenty of room, wonderful porch, and great location just minutes from Seneca and Clemson! We enjoyed every minute of our stay!
Our experience was amazing! We had a chance to really connect as a family in a warm family home. The serene views of the lake from the back porch while sipping hot coffee were wonderful!
We hope other families get to experience this lovely home and environment!
We rented the house for an extended weekend. We were 8 and it was spacious, super clean and beautifully decorated.
The house has great access to the lake. The owner was exceptionally responsive to any even minor issue during the stay.
Highly recommend this place !

Kitchen facilities and appliances are not great. The place was not very clean for some reason. The kitchen table had a lot of sticky stuff on it as well as the floor. Some of the pillowcases were dirty when we got there. Things were just kind of cluttered and old. It’s a nice location on the lake near town so that was a plus the space of the home is adequate and the beds seemed comfortable. The main disappointment was that it did not seem to be particularly clean as well as all appliances and limited cookware The dock is very nice and a great place to swim from
This lake property is near a marina and marina restaurant by water. The water is high and boating was fun. The cove is quiet but located near tons of stuff. Had a great time. House was great.
The house was very accommodating to our family! Plenty of space to spread out on the rainy days. The screened in porch is where we lived if we weren’t floating in the lake! We cooked in every night and grabbed lunch at the Tiki bar! We rented a boat from the local marina. Overall great week in a nice home with family!
We really enjoyed our stay at the lake house. We had 6 adults, 2 teens, and 1 younger child and we had plenty of space. We enjoyed swimming off the dock and rented a boat close by for two days. Lots of islands and beaches to check out. We strolled around Seneca and Clemson and enjoyed shopping and local restaurants. Grocery stores are very close and convenient. Best lake house we have stayed at in this area. Would love to come back!
The location is excellent - easy to get to at the bottom end of the lake in Seneca. You can see Keowee Marina across the lake from the dock. Restaurants, grocery stores and Walmart very close. Kids love playing in the water off the dock - bring your own water toys. House has been upgraded with new kitchen, bath rooms remodeled, 4 bedrooms with good beds and configured with flexibility. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return!
Spent a few nights here over spring break with the added benefit of being close to Clemson to visit with my oldest. It was a very comfortable home for us. We loved the view, spending time on the porch and rented a pontoon boat for a fun day on the lake. We loved the trip and enjoyed the place. We are used to rental homes with a few more amenities - soap, extra tp, etc. The towels and sheets were clean but the quality was not great. Overall the house was very good but a few small details would make it great. Thank you for a great few days.

Okay house but watch out for insurance scam
First I would like to state our family are long time VRBO users. We have NEVER had a complaint. I have only written reviews for excellent houses..never left acomplaint. However this time, I believe my family has been victimized. I will start out by stating that yes we had several extra people in our party. We have 12 children, 7 adopted, 4 in wheelchairs. The description read 10 adults so we did not include our two young boys, our 5 month old grandbaby or two of our children who are confined to wheelchairs . We always bring their blowup mattresses because we can not keep them safe in regular beds. Owner took pictures of people coming in and out of the house and numbered them. In those pictures she included my sisters family who came to visit us for the day!! So if the owner wanted to keep our deposit of $500 because of that I would sadly say ok.
However... in a home where I first had to wipe down counters, remove food from the refrigerator, make beds, found bedding with blood on it and had to kill over 15 roaches on the first night, you can imagine how upset were to find out $3,000 in damages were submitted to the travel insurance! When I emailed the owner she claimed we cut the top of a mattress off, broke patio furniture and caused much damage to all the walls and door jams. If you have been to the home, the upstairs in beautifully renovated. The bottom floor has not and has alot of wear and tear. The owner herself states it is her second home and they are there any weekend it is not used. Without any proof my family was targeted for destroying a house which is just NOT TRUE. In fact, the outside of the home looked prepped and ready to be painted with holes patched...I guess $1,000 in paint would come in handy about now. When we talked with the insurance company, they told us this renter had maxed out the number of submissions she was entitled to but they were going to give her half of the money she requested. Apparantely she has a history of this. My family has encountered discrimination before and this experience makes me feel that we have been targeted. I do not expect any return of our money. That is not the purpose of this review. It just makes us so angry when lies are told about our family and people get away with fraud. We would hate for this to happen to you!

Great House and Convenient Location
This house has a wonderful floor plan, especially if you have kids who need lots of space to play. The layout is excellent for living as it is open, bright and very functional. The best part of the house, in our opinion, is the huge, screened porch overlooking Lake Keowee. We practically lived out there from morning to night. It has a great living area with lots of comfortable chairs and sofas, a large table for meals and a fabulous swinging "bed" that hangs fro the ceiling. The kids loved that!
The house is on a hill above the lake and requires a lot of stair climbing to get to and from the dock. The dock is wonderful with a large landing jet ski dock and covered slip for a small boat. Lots of fun anytime.
We had a few things that we did not like, however. The house did not seem to have been cleaned well prior to our arrival. We actually had to do some cleaning ourselves which included cleaning out the refrigerator, wiping down the counters, window sills, and other areas. There was no toilet paper aside from a partial roll in each bath. No soap was provided in the baths either. The beds were not made up and had the sheets in a pile on the corner of each bed. We had to make all the beds ourselves before we could use them. It was hard to tell if the sheets had even been cleaned. No one liked the sheets that were provided. They were hot, polyester sheets that felt like you were sleeping in plastic wrap. Several in our party even elected to sleep on the bedspread because the sheets were so uncomfortable!
The gas grill had an empty gas canister which we had to replace at our expense at the local Lowes. We left it there for the next guest.
All in all, we got the feeling that we were just using the owner's house as they left it. It did not have the ambiance that most VRBO and Homeaway rentals we had become used to. These inconveniences, though small, could have been rectified easily and at little cost to the owner. There were only three chairs on the dock. That made using it for relaxation for 6 adults difficult. Finally, the landscaping was very rough and muddy. It appeared that no one cared about the beauty of the place or that you had to navigate muddy hills to get to and from the dock.
This rental just needs to pay attention to the little things.
Maybe even a bottle of wine, some snacks ad a welcome card on the kitchen island would have made us feel more like paying guests than family members.
The property was perfect for our family vacation. Great location on the lake, plenty of space, beautiful dock and water access. It was perfect and the home owners where great!
