A remarkable 500 years old house of character.

One of a kind 500 year old house of character with seaviews situated in Senglea which is one of the 3 cities surrounded by bastions. The house is situated in a quiet street and walking distance to the promenade where numerous restaurants are situated or stroll by the promenade with fantastic views of the Vittoriosa marina and the Grand Harbour. On the roof guests can enjoy a glass of wine and admire the marina and fort Saint Angelo, once used as a naval base by the Order of Saint John.

The Vertical house

This house is no good if you have any kind of walking ishouse. Firstly is the fact that every room is on a different floor. The master bedroom with ensuite is on the ground floor, the next bedroom is up a flight of stairs and so on with each room up more stairs. Secondly is that the house is almost at the top of a hill. You can drive to the house but you can't park, you can only drop off. You have to park next to the marina and walk up all the steps to get to the front door, befour climbing four or five flights to get to the kitchen and dining room.The wiring is definitely a problem, as one evening when cooking a meal, the fuse box caught fire and we were unable to finish cooking. The next day the fault was fixed but the food in the fridge was lost. I will go back to Malta but I won't be staying at this house.

We loved this house. It is very comfortable but for us the terrace on top of 6 floors was the Wow factor. The creek is full of yachts, and the city is spread out like a little bit of Venice

Wonderful Senglea retreat

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Thomas House. From the very smooth and informative check in process with Joe, to the wonderful rooftop terrace that we enjoyed each evening with views across the marina to Birgu, to the lovely restaurants on the waterfront only a stone’s throw away. We also made excellent use of the BBQ on the roof terrace. The house is very well equipt and clean, and full of history. We would love to return.

Grande maison dans les 3 cités

Grande maison très bien équipée avec un superbe toit terrasse et une belle vue Quartier calme à 10 minutes à pied de l’embarcadère vers La Valette Maison ancienne avec le charme des vieilles pierres mais beaucoup d’étages avec 1 chambre par entre-sol Seul bémol : il n’y a que 2 salles de bains dont l’une privative dans la chambre du rez-de-chaussée.

Amazing Maltese house

The house is simply amazing to get steeped in Malta. Staying in a house with so much history and character is the best way to complement a stay in Malta. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, which was made better by the great conveniences including a wonderful kitchen with dishwasher and a washer and dryer. The views from the multilevel terrace are stunning.

Best place

Manager was amazing and very accommodating. The location is perfect too visit most of what malata has to offer. There is a 5-10 min walk to the ferry taxi and your off and can see everything. Will stay again

Perfekt udgangspunkt for at opleve Malta

Dejligt hus med lækker, rustik stil, rummeligt køkken og fællesrum samt en fantastisk tagterrasse. For os (8 voksne) var det et perfekt udgangspunkt for at opleve Malta. Værten Joe var super imødekommende og hjælpsom. Kan ubetinget anbefales.
