Room was good except for gaps in a window and under the door. The TV was big but had a flickering defect. Wifi was fast and reliable. The hot water and AC were good. The lobby had AC. The staff and “boss” didn’t know what the word “balance” means on an invoice or receipt, so that was weird. The staff was friendly and patient, though.

We stayed for 2 nights at S Rose hotel between 5 to 6 May 2025. My experience at this property is at best a quiet retreat. However the security at this property is questionable- on 7.5.25 after we checked out and left for the airport for our flight to Dubai. We discovered that an amount of USD1,000 was missing from document folder in our our bag.which was kept in my hotel room. I reported to the hotel by which time I am not able to do anything as I am on my vacation till end May. As I write this I have not recovered the full amount stolen at S Rose hotel. So beware

We paid very little and certainly didn't expect much, but not this little. Minimalist room with a fairly dirty and run-down bathroom. The main problem, however, was the constant noise: there was the humming of the refrigerator, the electrical panel, and every so often a fan that sounded like a helicopter would start up. It was impossible to sleep.
