Attractive villa amidst a Balinese village in northern Bali

Experience the pure village life in the hills of untouched North Bali. Away from busy tourism lies villa Ananda, tucked away in the green idyllic village of Umeanyar. On the upper terrace you can see the sea and enjoy the most beautiful sunset. You will be surrounded by the sounds of Balinese village life.
Villa Ananda is the perfect balance between the West and the East.
Villa Ananda was built in 2010. During the construction we were inspired by the principle of feng shui (= applying positive energy flows according to ancient Chinese teachings) and by Balinese architecture. The villa consists of two floors and is five minutes from the sea. The 2 bedrooms have airconditioning.

Ideal for people who are looking for the real village life in Bali, personal service and a homely atmosphere in contemporary Western comfort.

Das Haus ist wirklich ein Traum. Im Obergeschoss hat man den Blick aufs Meer. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig gebaut und wirklich gut eingerichtet. Der Pool ist eine echte Erfrischung und hat sogar die Tiefe zum Schwimmen. Wirklich besonders war, der Service durch die Köchin mit Frühstück, Lunch und Dinner. Wir waren sehr begeistert und haben die Ruhe und den Ort genossen. Es empfiehlt sich einen Fahrer zu organisieren um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Dabei sind aber die Gastgeber und das Hauspersonal jederzeit behilflich. Die Nachbarn dort sind uns sehr freundlich gegenüber getreten und haben sich stets gefreut. Der Strandabschnitt, welchen wir fußläufig erreichen konnten, hat uns nicht so gut gefallen dafür sind wir mit einem Fahrer dann etwa 30 Minuten zu einem schönen Bade- und Schnorchelstrand gefahren. Die Massage war auch ein Traum und vor allem kam Sie direkt ins Haus. Es war rundum ein traumhaft schönes Erlebnis. Danke auch für die super gute Kommunikation mit den Vermietern.

Ontzettend genoten!

Op onze reis door Azië hebben we een maand mogen verblijven in dit fijne huis vanuit waar we konden werken, leven en Bali konden ontdekken. Onze kinderen kregen een warm welkom in de buurt en hebben iedere avond buiten kunnen spelen met de buurkinderen. Ook de katten in en om de villa waren een bonus. Wij konden rustig werken en in de vrije uren Bali ontdekken. Ajik was een zeer fijne chauffeur en iedere avond hebben we genoten van de kookkunsten van Nana!Hier komen we graag nog een keer terug!

Wunderschöne Villa mit großem Privatpool

Wir haben unseren 10-tägigen Aufenthalt in der Villa sehr genossen. Die Villa ist stilvoll eingerichtet, der private Pool ist sehr groß und wird gut gepflegt. Von der Dachterrasse hat man zudem einen atemberaubenden Blick in die Landschaft bis zum Meer. Da die Destination in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft zur balinesischen Bevölkerung liegt, hat man häufig Kontakt zu den freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Menschen vor Ort. Wir können die Destination rundum weiterempfehlen.

Un charmant coin de paradis

J'ai passé deux semaines des plus fantatisques ! Une expérience unique qui m'a permis vivre la cultures et la vie locale. La maison est un havre de paix, idéale lorsqu'on préfère passer une journée tranquille. Ketut et Gusti sont des ressources inestimables pour nous aider à apprendre les traditions locales. J'ai déjà hâte à mon prochain séjour !

Beautiful retreat away from the tourist crowd

As we knew that northern Bali is not as developed as the overcrowded South, we rented a car and drove from Sanur to Seririt. The villa is challenging to find even with Google maps, but once you are there you will not regret it. It's a real gem and worth the trip. Our three children spent most of the days in the pool which is surrounded by trees and therefore even has some shade which is quite useful in the hot hours of the day. The staff takes good care of the house and is prepared to help and serve you. We enjoyed every morning a tasty breakfast with fruit and eggs according to our needs. In addition, Ketut and her helper prepared tasty dinners (and/or lunches, if you can eat that much) for about one third to half of the costs of a regular beachside restaurant. Ketut also helped us to attend the Fourth Full Moon ceremony and we managed to get a glimpse of hinduist religion and village life. There are nice places in the surroundings, such as Nalika restaurant on the Umeanyar beach (7 min. by car) or Permuteran with its organised diving and snorkeling tours to Menjangan island (40. min.), but you need your own car or hire a driver to get around. Overall, however, the beaches are not very clean and one has to chose well where to go. Overall, Villa Ananda is definitely a good choice and we do not regret that we went there.

verblijf seririt

Overall hebben we een prettig verblijf gehad in Seririt. De ligging was wel erg Local. Er is niets waar je even naar toe kunt lopen om wat te eten/drinken. Daarvoor moet je echt een taxi laten komen. De chauffeur die aangeraden wordt vanuit het huis beviel niet echt. Vriendelijke man, maar erg in zichzelf gekeerd en geen enkele toelichting op omgeving en kort minimaal antwoord op vragen. Ook duurder dan de taxichauffeur die we hebben ingeschakeld uit Lovina. Heerlijke maaltijden gegeten bereid door Ketut. De bedragen voor boodschappengeld gingen wel erg uit de losse pols en we waren ruim het dubbele kwijt vergeleken met andere plekken waar we hebben gezeten en bonnetjes waren er niet. Nog steeds niet duur en lekker gegeten, maar het voelde een beetje vreemd dat er weer betaald moest worden. Ook het strand op 10 minuten lopen was geen recreatie/zwemstrand (wat er was, was niet bereikbaar door water) en het uitzicht bij het zwembad was dichtgegroeid. Het huis verder is heerlijk. Fijne hoekjes, mooie slaapkamers en badkamers, mooie tuin en lieve mensen. Het is maar waar je naar op zoek bent en voor ons was het iets te afgelegen. De route vanuit het Oosten naar het Noorden was prachtig en hadden we zeker niet willen missen!
