close to what you see in the photos. Very deceiving. Staff was nice. Our room bathroom smelled like poop, Just fan, no AC, it is a charge to have AC. There were LOTS OF CATS while eating breakfast. Our son was terrified as he doesn’t like cats.

Very friendly staff. Hotel pick up was convenient, especially with late arrival. Property is clean, big. Again, the staff are the backbone of this resort. They are so welcoming!

The facility, people, food, views were excellent. We would definitely return. Only drawback was that it is isolated; no places to walk to/around. But the rest of the stay made up for that.

There was no hot water, the light was intermittent, the television didn't work throughout my stay and the front desk staff were all quite inept, clueless and borderline rude. There were ants everywhere in the room.

No-frills lodge

Budget lodge located at the western end of the Senegambia, near Turntable. Property is a bit worn, but the hosts are lovely and very friendly. The room would be better if air conditioning was included, but it comes at an extra charge. Also, no towels or soap are provided in the room. Mosquito net was large and covered the entire bed. Lovely wooden doors and furniture. Breakfast was OK, but it was a bit messy with drippings all over the serving trays - they should have someone there to clean as people are serving themselves. Wifi worked well. Overall, it was a reasonable stay.

The linen was not changed in a timely manner. That raises questions about hygiene. The toilet was not cleaned with sanitizer or bleach solution leaving the toilet with a discernible smell of urine. We had to purchase sanitizer from outside to clean the toilet. There were large ants crawling in and out of the room through gaps in the doorways. Again, we had to purchase insecticide from outside to take care of the pesky ants. Mr Drammeh (the tall one) and the restaurant crew did the best under the poor management that they find themselves in. The level of management at this hotel is woefully inadequate. We wouldn't stay at this hotel again for even $5.

Les employés à la réception n'était pas très sympathiques mais ceux du restaurant et les de l'entretient étaient beaucoup plus amicaux. L'hôtel est bien. Par contre, il fallait payer un supplément pour la climatisation de 10 euros par jour et aucune mention à ce sujet.

Venligt og imødekommende personale, meget imødekommende, men uden de store chancer for at hjælpe. Et IT- og Wifi-mæssigt er sort hul. Bygningerne ok, men elektriske installationer slet ikke i orden. Meget flot hotelhave med et rigt dyreliv og god strand.

Hotellet ligger perfekt vid Atlanten, med milsvida sandstränder och för dem som vill roa sig lite mer finns Senegambias utbud några minuter bort i taxi. Städningen är mycket bra och maten i hotellets restaurang är bra. Personalen är vänlig och tillmötesgående om du behöver hjälp, men det saknas en portier på hotellet. Hotellområdet är kuperat med stenbelagda gångar och det saknas en kärra som kan transportera bagage eller andra tyngre föremål mellan reception och hotellrum. Det saknas också kryckor och rullstol om olyckan skulle vara framme. Ett inslag som många tycker är trevligt är den lilla apkoloni som finns på området med jämna mellanrum. 10-15 gröna makaker som tyvärr matas av obetänksamma turister. Det gör att du kan ha en apmamma sittande på balkongräcket när du minst anar det. Hon är först och främst ute efter bananer eller annan frukt, men vill det sig illa kan du bli av med mobilen om du lämnat den ute på balkongbordet. Överlag ett trevligt mellanklasshotell med fördelar och nackdelar.

De accommodatie was in feite OK : rustig, mooie kamer, goede ligging, goed ontbijt . Wat alles evenwel kapot maakte, was dat er 1000 euro uit onze kamer 61 gestolen is . Vermoedelijk door poetsvrouw omdat enkel zij toegang tot de kamer had . In dit verband ook heel arrogant behandeld door de general manager Jim . Bovendien weigerde hij elke tegemoetkoming of ondersteuning . Wat begon als een sprookje is geëindigd in een nachtmerrie !
