Quiet, Spacious and Relaxing Getaway

The vacation apartment was quiet and spacious, making it an excellent place to relax for a few days. There are plans for improvements around the pool, which will make it perfect, but even as it is, the pool is still great to use.

A beautiful home in a beautiful country

A very nice house in a beautiful area. The house offers good comfort and plenty of space, the kitchen is functional. Internet connection is very stable. The pool is really great. The house is located in a quiet area and the neighborhood seems to be very friendly. The beautiful beaches are reachable by car, shopping facilities as well. The handover of keys worked flawlessly. A very relaxing vacation for us - we will be very happy to come back. Thank you very much.

Family stay good experience

Overall was a good stay, was a bit unsure before travelling as we didn't communicate with the house manager, but they responded 2 days before check in. House was clean and tidy, they accommodated an early check in for part of the group. The house is further from the seaside, about 10 min driving and parking is limited by the sea. House includes everything you need for a short stay, and the pool is good size and so refreshing on hot days. I would recommend for groups with a car, option of bus to the beach as well, and for quiet homey stays. Maria

Good house, but it wasn’t well maintained

The house is quite big, with pool and great space. But it wasn’t well maintained. The air conditioners weren’t working, the pool was dirty, all the gardens were dry with no grass. Nothing compared to the pictures. The beds were comfortable tho. Check in and check out was done easily and staff was kind.

Un super environnement au calme et à proximité des commodités en voiture. Mais l'entretien de la maison, du mobilier extérieur et de la piscine ne sont pas à la hauteur de la prestation payée: piscine inutilisable pendant 4 jours sur 2 semaines de congés !

Somos um grupo de oito pessoas, dois casais com adolescentes e crianças. A estadia foi excelente. Os quartos arejados, com proteção contra insectos nas janelas, cozinha equipada, piscina excelente. No geral, esteve tudo muito bem. A d. Vera muito simpática e atenciosa. A menina que fez o check out (que eu não sei o nome, desculpe) muito profissional e simpática também. Nada a apontar de negativo.

Quintola da Maca

Maison très agréable et située dans une zone très calme. Couchages un peu "légers" et il n y a que des lits simples. Véra très disponible et toujours soucieuse de notre bien être (merci Véra). Je recommande vivement cette maison !!

Perfect week

Very well appointed large property with swimming pool. Quiet town location. Large supermarkets 5 minutes drive. National park with nice beaches and walks 30 mins drive. Will definitely go again. Owner, their representative and cleaners all excellent.

Piscine et maison sale

Nous avons été très déçu, 1er problème maison pas propre, nous avons dû nettoyer les salles de bain à notre arrivée. Dans la machine à café le filtre était moissi. Poussière sous les lits. 2 eme problèmes nous avons passé 4 jours sur 7 à nettoyer la piscine. Le réparateur est venu le vendredi après midi et nous repartions le samedi matin !!. La propriétaire nous a proposer un dédommagement mais à ce jour rien. Vraiment déçu de cette location surtout que nous louons tout les ans dans cette superbe région.

maison a éviter en famille

Après 2 semaines passées au sein de cette maison qui sur le papier est parfaite, nous avons eu la désagréable surprise de constater au cours de notre séjour que la piscine: les margelles autours de la piscine sont défoncées ( très dangereux pour les enfants), l'entretien n'a pas été fait à la fin de la première semaine donc la piscine à verdi ( nous avons dû la nettoyer par notre propre moyen et nous l'avons pas utilisé pendant plusieurs jours)! La propriétaire a bien fait passer un pisciniste en urgence mais il a uniquement relever le taux de chlore! De plus les skimmers ne fonctionnent pas donc la pompe ne sert à rien! La climatisation: dans la chambre du bas, elle est non fonctionnelle. S i la télécommande allume bien la climatisation, aucun air frais n'en sort. Pour la chambre à l'étage, les ailettes sont tenus par un morceau de carton ( particulièrement désagréable pour le bruit). La hotte dans la cuisine ne fonctionne pas. Nous en avons informé la propriétaire qui nous a indiqué qu'elle ne faisait pas partie du matériel inclus dans les services de la maison. (Quel intérêt de la laisser?) Le linge de maison est bien inclus à l'arrivée du séjour mais il n'y aucun change dans les armoires supplémentaire (il vaut mieux qu'aucun enfant ne soit malade ou qu'il est un accident durant son sommeil) de prévu durant le séjour ! La propriétaire nous a répondu que nous avions une machine à laver à disposition pour laveries draps et serviettes. Nous étions 8 personnes dans la maison. Bref, après plusieurs messages, elle a accepté " exceptionnellement " de nous fournir des draps et des serviettes propres. Il est indiqué sur l'annonce que le jardin et la piscine sont entretenu chaque semaine. Pour notre part nous n'avons vu personne avant le jeudi de notre 2ème semaine de vacances. Le portail électrique est en fait manuel! De plus, nous avions deux véhicules mais une seule voiture est rentré car les tiges métalliques pour bloquer le portail sont très dangereuses, elles peuvent percer les pneus pour des grosses voitures. Bref, nous avons payé quasiment 3000 euros pour la location de cette maison pour 2 semaines et nous estimons que ce montant est bien au delà de ce à quoi nous nous attendions comme prestation. La propriétaire nous a indiqué qu'elle nous recontacterait à la fin du séjour mais depuis aucune nouvelle! Nous avons une dossier photos pour appuyer nos dires. Pour nous maison à fuir.

Excellent séjour

➡️Globalement très satisfait !!! La maison est bien équipée, assez grande pour 8 personnes et le mobilier est confortable. Toutefois, la sortie du garage n'est pas pratique du tout (risque de rouler sur le système de fermeture du portail et de crever ses pneus, il vaut mieux être deux pour faire les manoeuvres) Les visites dans la région sont nombreuses, nous recommandation ce logement si vous souhaitez visiter Lisbonne et ses environs. Nous avons particulièrement aimé Setubal, Sesimbra, la Praia Lagoa de Albufeira, la péninsule de Troia. Plein de bons restaurants sont aussi à découvrir ! Merci aux personnes qui se sont occupées du check in/out Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir

Bela casa para ficar no verão / Nice house to stay in summer

We had a nice time at the Casa dos Cedros between christmas and new years. The house in general is in a very nice location and has a lot of space. We believe that it is a very nice place to stay in summer. However, in winter and during rain season it might not be the best place to stay as it is not allowed to use the chimney that is advertised online, the heating system is working in general when there is enough fuel (it was empty when we arrived - the functionality should have been tested at least a day before to heat up the house and get rid of the humidity before our arrival). However, the owner organised us two big gas heaters right after finding out that the gas was empty so were weren't cold for the two days we were waiting for the gas refill - so it was ok. In summary the house needs some general revision (especially the walls that were also very humid but this was probably due to the season). We would love to come back to the house after a general revision. :)
