Lovely house in the nature outside Seulo

We had a great time in this fantastic apartment, there is a small garden with green grass and a terrace with table, chairs and sun-bench where we enjoyed the expansive views of the valley and distant mountains (and at night there was the spectacular stars of the night sky). At the entrance to the property there is the start of nice walk to the nearby town of Selu crossing the valley and passing the old roman bridge at the bottom and several farms and up to the town which has several alimentari stores for supplies and is a good place for coffee and watching the lively street life. We also had the good luck to observe the Santi Cosma e Damiano procession while we were there. Many thanks to Virginia for her kind assistance and patience especially when we arrived late having underestimated the time it takes to drive through the winding but beautiful roads of the Gennargentu countryside and her advice on things to see in the area. Kitchen and bathroom are good and well equipped. We cooked every evening except when we went one night to the nearby Agriturismo Ticci. We had a great time here and would recommend it to to everyone. Only regret would be that we would have like to stay longer.

Die Übergabe war chaotisch. Der Betreuer Michele wusste nichts von unserer Ankunft. Nichts war geputzt und hergerichtet. Töpfe und Pfannen verdreckt oder kaputt. Der Lärm aus der darüberliegenden Wohnung war schrecklich. Allein das Stühlerücken unerträglich. Ein paar Filzauflagen auf den Stuhlbeinen würde Wunder wirken. Die Holzdecke war ungedämmt, so dass man die intimsten Geräusche mithören musste.Der Fernseher funktionierte nicht, der Kühlschrank lief aus, so dass am ersten Morgen eine Überschwemmung in der Küche war. Das Allerschlimmste war die Zufahrt zum Haus. Der ca. 500 m lange Weg ist nur für Geländefahrzeuge geeignet. Wir saßen mit unserem Mietwagen mehrfach auf (siehe Blder). Dabei ist die Lage des Hauses wunderschön. Der Mann, der die Wohnung übergeben sollte, sprach kein Wort Englisch, geschweige denn Deutsch. Der Manager hatte einfach vergessen, ihn über unsere Ankunft zu informieren.

Es war ein Wunder, dass unser Mietwagen das durchhielt

12 cm tiefe scharfkantige Furchen machten jede Anfahrt zum Wagnis

Um den Untiefen auszuweichen, musste man in die Dornenhecke ausweichen

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Seulo, perdu au milieu de la montagne sarde sur laquelle nous avions une superbe vue depuis notre terrasse. Reposant loin du tourisme de masse que nous fuyons ! Piscines naturelles et cascades à proximité pour profiter de la fraîcheur et magnifiques randonnées à faire.Logement adapté même si un peu petit pour 5 personnes.

Au calme à la montagne

Nous avons apprécié le village de Seulo et les environs, le logement lui-même. L’altitude de 800 m donne de la fraicheur la nuit pour mieux dormir en été. En journée si nécessaire, la clim est très efficace. Panorama fantastique en effet. Nous avons découvert qu'il y a une seconde location à l'étage supérieur. Heureusement les occupants étaient calmes. L'accès à la rivière à Sa Stiddiosa se mérite ! C'est un parcours assez sportif très pentu. Pour se rafraîchir nous avons aussi apprécié la baignade en contrebas après le pont sur la route de Gadoni.

Mooi uitzicht, mooie wandelroutes

Prima vakantieverblijf: nieuwe woning, basic ingericht. Buitenmeubelen vallen erg tegen. Na een flinke wandeling wil je relaxt kunnen genieten van het mooie uitzicht. Zeker bij verblijf van 7 dagen.

Schöne Wohnung

Wer Berge und gutes Essen mag. Ist hier vollkommen richtig. Man kann wundervoll wandern gehen und im Restaurant gegenüber sehr gut essen gehen. Ist weiter zu empfehlen.

A must stop at the heart of Sardinia

It has been a wonderful experience in a special place sorrounded by wild nature. Perfect solution for those who are looking to spend some fully relaxing days or for those who are aiming to experience wonderful trekking through mountain paths. The view from each windows is really amazing. Rooms are well and newly furnished. The house owner has been really kind and totally available even if contacts has been through e-mail conversation. Thanks also to Virginia for her kind availability.
