Conveniently located. Several amenities bir a quick bit availabke. But my Room was not made up or refreshed on second day by 4 pm. Very full hotel due to World Cup. When i left at 6:15 am i asked desk ckerk to call fir a taxi but he directed me outside instead to a cab that was occupied. No one else around so inhadvto walk to intersection to flag another. Lack if customer care at that hour. Several staff behind desk.

RIU has a quick and efficient system for storing luggage for travelers arriving prior to check in. We did have to stand in line twice in order to check in partly because the online check in process was nonfunctional. However, we were able to access our room prior to 3 PM which was very helpful since we were traveling with children. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean if slightly small and basic. The location is great for proximity to Times Square, theaters, and restaurants without much noise. Breakfast is included and is delicious and efficiently managed by hotel staff. Prices listed in Expedia are useful for a relative ranking between different hotels but do not reflect what you pay per night. Our basic room was a little over $500/night including various fees and taxes, significantly more than you might expect from the Expedia listing.
