Loved my stay.

The condo was very clean, had everything I needed and just steps to the beach. Also the host was very kind and helpful with any question I had. 10/10 would stay again.

Perfection

Returned a second time to Unit 17 at Cayman Reef Resort. Great location with easy walks to restaurants and Camana Bay. The property manager, Trinda, was very attentive and welcomed us with a bottle of champagne…which was a nice touch. The unit was very comfortable for 2 people with a nice view of the water. We’ll return!

Simply relaxing. Simply Wonderful!

Trinda’s condo was the PERFECT place for us! We thought the central location to soooo many restaurants, pick-up point for excursions and day trips, airport, groceries and shops was exactly what we needed. And you won’t find a more organized and thorough Owner anywhere else. Promise that. Her condo was spacious enough for two of us, clean, had all the things we needed (bath/beach towels, cooking appliances and dinnerware, as well as a super comfy bed and storage too.) We never ate at the same restaurant twice, as the choices are so varied. And the people we met—both locals and travelers—were so warm and friendly. We can only recommend you to book this condo NOW if you’re thinking of renting something on Grand Cayman. You’ll be happy you did!Thanks, Trinda!

This property was a great vacation for home away from home! The renter was amazing and quick to respond. They sent over a guidebook of local stores and shops. There was so much nearby that was walkable. The beach was small but clean and not crowded. There was plenty of seating and watching the sunsets were the best part. The pool was clean but admittedly we stayed at the beach. The rental had a lot of goodies, utensils, dishes, pool floatys, even laundry detergent for the washer and dryer. My only complaint, if there is one, is the shower head was a little rusty and the curtain had mildew on the bottom and rust around the rings. Also, the towels are white so even though we knew they were clean they were dingy and stained. Still, the rest of the unit was clean and it was all in all a good trip. I would definitely recommend!

Great Beach location

This is our second time staying here. It’s in a great location to walk to various food and shopping establishments and you can’t beat the quiet beach! We will be coming back again!

The property was a few steps from the beach, very close to all the best restaurants. Camana Bay with its elegance, beautiful views, amazing restaurants and Gelato place was just 10 minutes away. The owners gave us very detailed review of every possible information we might need. Amazing location, beautiful place.

Great winter break in Cayman Islands

Had a wonderful time in Grand Cayman. This unit was perfect for us. Morning coffee on veranda with beautiful view of the Caribbean…steps to beach…steps to pool….short walk to restaurants, shopping, or any other service needed for to make for a great vacation.

Pretty much perfect

This property was perfect for the 2 of us. We walked to great restaurants, walked the beach everyday, and watched amazing sunsets from the beach at the resort. Trina was an attentive host and made everything so easy for us. She provided a nice bottle of wine upon arrival which was a nice touch. We would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic Rental

This unit in Cayman Reef is a fantastic place to stay. The condo has everything you need for a great stay. The condo is in a very convenient location. It’s close to restaurants and you can catch a bus right outside the condo on the street to go go practically anywhere. The owner was easy to deal with and the condo was exactly as listed.

Fantastic on every level!

Awesome Condo

We stayed at Unit 17 at Cayman Reef Resort and couldn't have picked a better place. The unit is just like shown in the pictures and for us was not lacking in anything that we needed. It was spotless, the bed was comfortable and enough towels for the 2 of us for the week. Didn't use the Washer and dryer so can't comment on those. Trinda was great to work with and responsive. Would definitely stay here if we return to Grand Cayman. This unit was close to the beach.

Paradise on Seven Mile Beach!

I cant say enough about this condo and the beauty of Seven Mile Beach! My wife and I came down to celebrate our anniversary. First off, the communication with Trinda was excellent! She not only had all kinds of recommendations for us while on the island, but was available within minutes for the one issue I needed her for during the week. The condo was as advertised and immaculate! The kitchen was well stocked and had all we needed to make some meals during the week. We ate out most of time as there are too many incredible restaurants to count. And the beach! WOW! From relaxing and reading a book to snorkeling or watching the amazing sunset, it was about as perfect as it could be. If you are thinking about coming down to Grand Cayman, look no further than this condo. You will not be disappointed!

So-So Accommodation

Unfortunately, we had to abruptly depart in order to return to the States and take care of our house in the wake of Hurricane Matthew. Though we were only there 1 night, we could see that an effort had been made to maintain the condo. The Property Manager was friendly and helpful. However, the unit showed it's age and had several things wrong from the get go-- the fan & light fixture above the master bed did not work at all, the bathroom door frame kept pulling away from the surrounding wall when you tried to close the door, lights were out in several locations, including the back porch. The unit was considerably older and smaller than we expected (and it felt that way), and my wife believes that the pictures we saw on VRBO of a fairly modern, well maintained unit, did not resemble what we ended up with. I have no idea what we would have discovered if we stayed longer.

The perfect place on the perfect island!

We spent six nights at Cayman Reef Resort and it was PERFECT! Trinda could not have been more responsive and she had everything ready for us when we arrived. The unit was spacious, clean, and bright with all appliances in great shape. Lots of little extras made for a fabulous stay. We were literally just steps from the pool and the beach, with close access to lots of shopping (Camana Bay is the best!), supplies, and restaurants. Staff on property (particularly Hal) were friendly and we always felt safe. We'll be back!!

This condo is great.

I would recommend this condo to anyone. Everything inside was new and clean and worked as expected. The swimming pool is big and clean. It is in a good location if you don't have a car. Camana Bay shopping area is a 10 minute walk away and it has restaurants and a big grocery store and a Starbucks. There are restaurants and a dive shop shop across the street and Rubi's gas station is just a 3 min walk and has milk, bread and basic stuff. There are beach chairs with umbrellas and small tables available in the sand and a couple of tables with chairs up on the top of the wall. The only minor drawback to the location is that the south end of Seven Mile Beach is not as wide as it is farther north so if you want a wide expanse of sand you have to walk for 5 minutes. Next time we come to Geand Cayman we'll try to stay in the same condo.

Disappointing

I need to start by saying that Trinda, condo owner and property manager, tried to make this rental right by providing a substantial discount -- after we left. Unfortunately there were a few big problems. Most egregious: two days before our trip, Trinda notified me that she forgot to tell us that there was work scheduled on the building that our ground floor rental was located in and she needed to move us to another condo in a different building. Trinda offered our choice of a larger unit on the second floor (unacceptable as my husband is recovering from hip surgery) or a mirror image unit on the ground floor. While the floor plan of the substitute unit was basically the same, the replacement unit was not as nicely furnished and certainly not "newly renovated" or "well-stocked." (For example, blinds were missing or not in working condition, the single closet was so full it was not possible to hang anything in it, the dishwasher was unusable because the sealer around the door was unattached, interior doors were difficult to open/close, etc..) The resort property itself was pretty and well maintained - although looking at a fumigation tent for several days detracted from the view. I did not actually speak with Trinda during our stay although I did both call and text the contact number provided. All in all, we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay on one of our favorite islands. It just wasn't what we had initially paid for, planned for and expected , or what our previous VRBO rentals have been like. I would like to believe that this experience was a unique and unfortunate occurrence. (On a positive note, VRBO has already provided the manager-initiated discount.)

The perfect Cayman location!

This property is exactly as detailed. The location is perfect if you don’t want to have a car. The beach is beautiful- the water is amazing. Bring your snorkel for the water right in front of you! There is a liquor store across the street and the grocery store is only a 10 min walk. There are all kinds of shops and restaurants within a 5/10 min walk. The host is very responsive and went above and beyond for us. We will be back!
