“We had planned our family reunion months ago and just happened to be coming down when there was the huge Cottonwood fire not too far away. Lisa did an amazing job of keeping contact with us in the day leading up to the trip, and letting us know about potential power outages (which didn’t happen). She was so open and friendly and just made our stay so easy even with the unsurety of everything that was happening with the fire. Because of some power outages, the house wasn’t quite as clean as Lisa……

“I absolutely loved this property—what a truly unique and memorable experience for my family and me. The three separate buildings offered so much space and comfort. The bunk house was equipped with everything anyone could need and more for cooking, and it was a great place to gather. There were fun games, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the porch with the communal area provided such a peaceful setting. We thoroughly enjoyed grilling and having fires at night, which added to the cozy……

“We had an amazing stay! The house was spotless, well maintained, and felt very solid and comfortable. It has an very open layout that was perfect for our family to spend time together. (I would note that because of the open floor plan, it’s probably best suited for families or groups who don’t need a lot of privacy.)The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. They do live in the basement, but after introducing themselves when we arrived, they……

“The cabin was great with the exception of the air not working, so the temp was in the 80s. There were lots of fans to help with air circulation though. The grill for cooking was dirty and we were unable to find any tools to clean it up. Would be exceptional if not for these things. ”

“The property listing needs clearer and more accurate details to set proper expectations. The provided address led us in circles to unrelated private properties, and it would help to note that the cabin is located at the very back of an RV park. The listing described it as a 2-bedroom, 1-bath with a sofa bed, but it is actually a studio setup with one bed and a sofa bed. The bathrooms are in a separate building and require quarters to use the showers. This could be a nice stay for the right……
