Spring Break Trip

We had a great time visiting during spring break. The location was just far enough away to provide a quiet retreat from the excitement of the tourist attractions. There was a beautiful view of the mountains and we enjoyed the sounds of the wildlife (crickets, turkey, etc). No one wanted to leave and we hope to be back one day!

What a great spacious property

Lovely Vacasa On A Hill

Beautiful house with a large kitchen/living area (we loved the massive couch!!). While there aren’t many rugs, the house was actually very well insulated so sounds were pretty contained to their rooms. On-site laundry was super helpful, but it would be nice to note in the rental listing that you need to bring your own soap. On previous reviews it appears there was no door on the kids bunk room, but happy to report there IS currently a door. Kitchen is fully equipped, but bring your own foil, parchment, plastic wrap, etc. The Keurig was fantastic!! We had such a wonderful time and would highly recommend.

Smoky Vacay

The pictures on website matched the property. The neighborhood was quiet which we loved! The kids never got bored at the cabin! There was plenty to keep Them entertained. Arriving here, the owners had snacks on the kitchen table for us, they had a great coffee selection, and they provided enough laundry pods to get us started until we were able to get ours. We had a great time and we truly enjoyed our stay!

Cute

Very nice! Very Quiet! We enjoyed the quietness the most lol. If you have kids and a babysitter I’m sure you will too. About 20 mins away front everything… 20 mins was not bad for us. Once you get back to the city everything is literally right there…. Very nice home well Taken care of! I loved the sunflowers in the front. Very spacious. We will return.

Beautiful views

My only complaint is that we did not stay longer! We drove up at night which was a little scary with all the twisty turns and hills in the darkness. When we saw the view in the morning, it was well worth it and you get used to the roads after a little while. It had a really nice fire pit, hot tub and a pool table that was a big hit. I love how simple and cozy it was with plenty for people to do. One of the bedrooms with the bunk beds does not have a door which the kids and teens didn’t complain about. The only awkward part of the house was that the bathrooms are located inside the 2 bedrooms with the doors. So the kids had to go into the other rooms at night to use the bathroom. It worked out fine for us and was not an issue. I would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful

We loved the property. Overall amenities. WiFi worked. The downside was the bathrooms were only in the bedrooms and the “kids” room had no door. Made it hard to put kids to bed when living room and pool table were right there. We loved our stay.
