Absolutely wonderful!!
This cabin was absolutely wonderful. My family and I had a blast. It is close to Pigeon Forge but is incredibly private as well. Mindy was a pleasure to work with and always quick to respond to questions.

Comforts of home!
Traveling with 9 adults and 5 children (4-mos. to 10 yrs. old) we very much appreciated all the comforts of home with many more perks! Our grandchildren loved the game room and theater room. Our children (parents of our grandchildren) enjoyed not having to go out for meals, preferring to cook family meals together. The kitchen at the cabin provided us with everything we needed, such as plates, cups, silverware, drinking glasses, cooking tools, and pots & pans. We really appreciated the two ovens, two dishwashers, two microwaves, two refrigerators, two toasters, two coffeemakers, and a Keurig! So helpful! The views of the mountain were spectacular! The rocking chairs on the decks were used often. After a day of hiking in Smoky Mountain National Park, our children and grandchildren enjoyed the hot tub. We had fun at Dollywood (try the Cinnamon Bread), Lost Mine Mountain Roller Coaster & Miniature Golf, and Ripley's Aquarium. The cabin is a quick 10 minutes away from the grocery store. We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed our time in the mountains. Our children and grandchildren all wished for a few more days...sign of a wonderful vacation! One tip we have to share is to plan your meals ahead of time for a few nights and then stop at the grocery store (Kroger or Publix) on your way to the cabin, because you won't want to leave this lovely home! Thanks Mindy and Mike for sharing your mountain cabin with us! We had a memorable 40th Wedding Anniversary celebration!

Great Location
Mindy is very prompt when communicating with her. The cabin is less than 10 minutes from the main road in Pigeon Forge but is far enough that you don't know you're in Pigeon Forge. The neighborhood is quiet and the cabins are spaced out so you don't feel crowed. There is plenty of room inside for people to gather with out being on top of each other.

Family vacation
The summit castle was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our family vacation. We had one day of rain but it didn’t matter because of all the fun things to do right there at the cabin from the pool table on the top floor to the many games and amazing theater room on the bottom floor! My family and I had a blast! The owner, Mindy, was also very informational and quick to respond with any questions. She is also always so kind! It was also cleaned very well! Highly recommend staying at the Summit Castle!

Family Reunion
We had a family reunion at Summit Castle! Wow! What an incredible experience!! The house is absolutely amazing! From the hot tub, fire pit, movie theater room, game rooms, amazing views, to comfortable beds, everything was top notch quality. We went to Dollywood for the first time and it was close to the cabin. Every one from children to adults LOVED Summit Castle. It was an incredible property with beautiful mountain views. HIGHLY recommend. The host, Mindy and her husband are awesome. Always available to answer any questions or concerns we had. Thank you for sharing this amazing property with our family. We had the best vacation ever!

Employees weekend
We brought our employees and their spouses for a weekend getaway. When we arrived at the castle, we were blown away with how beautiful this home is. The view in the pictures is what sold me on this listing but the pictures don't even come close to doing it justice. ABSOLUTE BEST VIEW! All the leaves were starting to change so it was very pretty. The cabin is so spacious and was very clean upon arrival. We really loved sitting by the gas fire pit. We also enjoyed playing on the arcade game. If I had to give any suggestions at all, it would be to maybe put some more hooks in the bedrooms/bathrooms to hang clothes or housecoat on but thats not even a big deal. If your looking to book this place...DO IT! You wont regret it!

Beautiful cabin!
We loved staying in Summit Castle for our wedding weekend. There was plenty of space to accommodate our large group. The cabin was very clean and we throughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful home
Nice home. We had 5 couples. All had own King bed and private baths. Kids room was very nice. (We had no kids with us.) But the kids room has 2 separate toilets and with separate showers. Theater room was nice size. The home can sleep at least 20 but the size of the living room and dining area were tight for 10 adults. Beautiful back deck. We saw a black bear the 1st morning. Good location. Kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, plates, silverware, pots & pans. You could make a huge meal. Just have to bring all spices, salt, pepper, sugar, and food. We had a great time. Just wish we looked at the activity that was going on in Pigeon Forge. Lol. Rod week made the roads very busy. I was told was worse week before with 45,000 Jeep’s.

Amazing Castle in the Mountains
We loved everything about this property. There was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen and how it was stocked was a dream! We stayed for 7 nights and cooked every day! Only one little hiccup and the owner was so quick to respond. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Great for large families!
Home has a great view, very well stocked kitchen for our large family. 2 dishwashers was a great touch. Bear came by daily to check on us! Home was very clean, great layout, and we will definitely stay here in the future. Owner was great to work with.

70th birthday celebration
The house was wonderful with lovely views of the mountains. The kitchen was amazing with two of everything! We enjoyed all the games, firepit, and hot tub. It seems remote, but it was so easy to get to town and grocery when needed. It was a fabulous place for our family to create memories!

Shining castle in the mountains.
We absolutely loved our stay at Summit Castle. The location is perfect and the views are incredible. We had everything we needed and space for everyone. Tim and I visited with our friends and family for our wedding weekend. We loved the large well equipped kitchen and dining room where we could share a meal with everyone. We enjoyed ending our days relaxing in the hot tub, taking in the views from the decks or by the fire, and playing games. It was the perfect place for our getaway! Thank you for sharing your home.

Beautiful Home with Beautiful Views!
We had four families (each with two kids), staying at the Summit Castle and everyone enjoyed their stay very much! There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out and we especially enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub! The location was great with its close proximity to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Mindy was a pleasure to work with and we appreciated all of the extras she included for guests at the cabin.

Castle with everything but a moat.
This property had a beautiful view from every angle, clean and well kept, with the home large enough for our large family. We like the feel of a cabin, yet had a castle look, making it a fun atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the Knight in armor decor. The kitchen had plenty of room for preparing meals and the extra dishwasher was nice to get the clean up done quickly. We had enough activities available to keep us entertain and continent to stay put and enjoy each others company. The property is close to activities for those who would like to do something outside of the home. If you have little ones, the sound does travel throughout the house, no insulation in the walls. The stairway can be dangerous. We were able to block off the hallway to prevent toddlers from getting close to the them. Overall, we enjoyed staying in this home and definite would like to go back.

I really appreciate your compliments and how your review highlights some of the distinctive features of Summit Castle. Regarding the walls, they are insulated but due to the open nature of the Castle and its 2 story great room, sounds do travel throughout the open areas. Any stairs can be dangerous for toddlers but fortunately the stairs are down a hallway to the side of the Castle so they are not near the areas where toddlers sleep or play. Thank you for taking good care of the Castle and I look forward to your return.

Amazing! Better than Pictures!
We had the absolute best time at Summit Castle. I have stayed in quite a few other rentals over the years and none have impressed me like this. The views walking in are breath taking...the neighborhood is also very quite and the few people we saw were very friendly. The rooms were extremely clean, beds were comfortable, the large kitchen was great...I cooked every day and I definitely didnt want to go home after having 2 of every appliance! We had 7 adults and 5 kids, and never once did we feel on top of each other. The layout was perfect. Mindy, the owner, is just a dream to work with! We got married in the back yard of the cabin...she was so nice and accommodating throughout the whole process. Not all owners are like Mindy...and they should be!! We couldn't have asked for a better place to make a memory of a lifetime. Just book it without any hesitations! We are already planning another trip!

Baseball Team stay
Stayed here with several coaches and teammates for a Ripken tourney. 7 adults, 3 teens, 5 x12 year olds, and 3 x 8 year olds. House was great. Lots of room. Clean. Bear visited every day so be careful. Lots of tvs beds bathrooms privacy and greet location. A bit loud with so many ppl in house but that would have been the case in any house. Highly recommend.

50th Birthday Gathering
There are no words that describe Summit Castle that would do it justice we were all blown away by the beauty, the space, the amenities, and the friendliness of the property owner Mindy. We had a group of 13 adults from 21-70 years old. Summit Castle far exceeded all of our expectations. Mindy was a pleasure to work with and was always available throughout the planning stages and our stay. Mindy and her family have literally thought of everything to accommodate everyone.

So clean and beautiful
We've visited the area 6 times now and stayed in 6 different cabins. Summit Castle was by far the cleanest! The parking was great and the yard was beautiful. All of the dishes, glasses, bakeware, utensils, etc made this cabin stand out from the rest. This kitchen was stocked and ready for a large group (this hasn't been the case in other cabins). The large hot tub and gas fire pit were wonderful! And the owners were so wonderful to deal with. I highly recommend this cabin!

Family Celebration
We rented this house for our extended family of 14. It was wonderful!! There was room for everyone and it was clean(that was an important point)! Our one son had to work during the vacation and he had a room with a desk off their bedroom with a beautiful view of the mountains while he worked. The internet was fast and worked perfectly. Besides hiking and doing all the tourist things in the area, the house had entertainment for all ages. We had kids from 10 to 20 and they were all happy with the different games and theater room. It was so nice to have two of everything in the kitchen plus plenty of room at the table for all of us to eat together. There was only one time when we lost power in one room and I texted Mindy. They responded immediately and told us where to find the breaker box to solve the problem. They were super about answering any questions. The only problem we had was the weather was so hot we didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit! I would definitely recommend this house - we had a wonderful time and made lasting family memories.

Beautiful spacious cabin
We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay. We were supposed to have 11 people total however due to some last minute unexpected health problems we ended up with 9 people with 6 vehicles that all fit comfortably in the parking area and could’ve fit a few more. Our rooms were spacious and the whole cabin was clean and tidy. I communicated with the owner several times with quick responses every time. No complaints here and would stay again!

Spring Break
This is our 2nd stay at the Summit Castle, we came back for Spring Break. The place was clean with all the amenities we needed and much more. We enjoyed the game room, hot tub, stories by the fireplace, eating at the big dinner table and playing in the adult game room in the loft. The back yard was perfect for our Easter egg hunt. We were close by all activities and the grocery store. Unfortunately due to high winds and unforeseen weather conditions we were not able to enjoy the firepit as much this time. But the views were amazing. Communication with Mindy was perfect she was accessible for any concerns or questions.

Great for a group
We had 4 families staying together. 8 adults and 6 children ranging from 5 to 13. There is lots of room to spread out when needed. Also the layout of 2 game areas allows for different groups to play at the same time. The office area also allowed for a quiet place for the kids to take turns doing school work. Kitchen is well stocked and 2 of all the appliances was great. We all loved it and would stay again.

The BEST Big Cabin for Groups
We take an annual trip to the mountains (usually 10 adults) in February and have found we prefer certain amenities like king beds and bathrooms for each bedroom. Summit Castle had everything on our list and then some. The kitchen was massive with two stoves, two fridges, two microwaves, two dishwashers, two coffee makers, two toasters, a Keurig, a crockpot, and the most well-stoked kitchen I’ve ever seen. There is adequate seating for everyone around the dinner table and bar stools also. Each room is unique and spacious. The FIREPIT is outstanding! It’s gas powered and so convenient to get to after a soak in the hot tub. This house was clean and when I say clean, it sparkled. The TVs were all easy to operate and didn’t require pages of instructions. The theater room was perfect for watching movies together and making great memories. MIndy was easy to communicate with and made everything associated with the visit simple. We will be back and look forward to making Summit Castle an approved destination for our large group.

Bear Merry Christmas!
It was the first time our entire family had gathered since the onset of covid. This was the perfect home to do just that! It is very spacious with multiple sleeping options. The children loved the game room (Adults too!). With dual refrigeration and dishwashers etc cooking and cleaning was a breeze. The Christmas decorations were lovely. We had a wonderful time and are thankful to Mindy for her great communication and sharing their beautiful home.

We booked this cabin to hold family for our daughters wedding on bluff mountain we enjoyed all the amenities and never felt cramped every bedroom had its own bathroom so it was great for getting ready for the big day wish we had more time so we could've used some of the great things the cabin had to offer like movie theater n hot tub but was able to use for a bit firepit n pool table mostly enjoyed the gorgeous views hope to return someday just to relax n enjoy the cabin with the family Loved The Summit Castle 💕

The property is gorgeous and had everything we could have needed. There were 15 of us and we had 9 children with us so the activities provided in the game rooms were much appreciated! The view was awesome and I wish we'd had more time to just chill on the porch. I would most definitely recommend, but if you want to do a lot of trails it is a bit of driving.

Summit Castle
Our family had an amazing time in the Smoky Mountains staying at the Summit Castle. We were minutes away from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The cabin was exactly as described but better in person. It was spotless clean. Appliances were like new and easy to use. The beds slept comfortably, top of the line sheets and towels. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, game room both downstairs and in the loft and movie theater. We also really enjoyed the king size beds and private ensuite bathrooms. Preparing meals in the kitchen was a cinch with 2 stoves, 2 refrigerators and 2 microwaves and don't let me forgot about the fridge downstairs. Mindy had the kitchen well stocked and was very informative with suggestions of things we may need before we arrived. The only thing we regret and is not being able to stay longer. Hope to stay here again in the future.

Excellent place
We booked Summit Castle for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. There were a total of 5 couples and each had their own room and bathroom with the bunk room to spare. We did a lot of cooking so appreciated the double sinks, refrigerators, stoves, and microwaves. The kitchen was VERY well stocked with an abundance of everything we needed. Cabin was just a short drive into the center of Pigeon Forge, which may not have been a good thing given our multiple trips to the Christmas Place! We had the best time! Thank you.

Very clean property with are important amenities and beautiful location
We had 4 families stay together with kids. We had ample room for everyone. everything is very clean and well thought through. Lot of games for kids they were busy entire week we stayed there . We enjoyed hot tub every day. Theatre was amazing and kids enjoyed it a lot. Host was very responsive and helpful for all questions and needs. Would love to stay here again. The property has ample parking.
