Great place to stay but a five star rating is not really warranted. The food was ok, the decor very interesting, the staff were mostly really great. Quiet pet friendly.

We had a wonderful family vacation at the Black Bass Hotel. The staff were fantastic and we received a very warm welcome. The view and the swimming pool is fantastic and we were also grateful to the staff for helping book a boat tour on the lake. Our skipper Jeremie was amazing too. The spa was also amazing and the therapists offered great treatments (amazing sports massage). We would like to thank the amazing team at the Black Bass Hotel for making our stay so special.

We stayed at this hotel for one night, but wish we would have stayed longer! When arriving, we were warmly welcomed by Julian, who gave us a small tour and history of the hotel before showing us to our room. The view of the lake and access to the walking/bike trail were wonderful. We liked that parking was included, since we had driven from Lyon. To get into Annecy, we took a bus that dropped off directly across from access into the old town, but there was also underground car parking for a reasonable rate. If you stay at this hotel, we highly recommend spending part of an evening sitting on the lawn chairs that have a view directly of the lake out the back of the property. Such a beautiful view!
