Escape to the heart of the Alaska wilderness and experience the kind of peaceful seclusion you can only find in the Last Frontier. Perched high on a steep hillside, this spacious three-story retreat comfortably sleeps 12 guests (ideally 8 adults and 4 children) and offers the perfect setting for families or groups looking to gather, relax, and reconnect. Surrounded by towering trees and fresh mountain air, the home provides privacy, breathtaking scenery, and an authentic Alaskan lodge atmosphere. Please note that the property sits up a steep hill and includes many stairs across its three levels, making it unsuitable for guests with mobility challenges or very small children.
The top floor offers a quiet and restful retreat. The master bedroom features a king bed, dresser, nightstand, chair, TV, closet, and a private attached bathroom with a shower/tub combination. A second bedroom on this level includes a queen bed, dresser, chair, nightstand, and closet. An additional full bathroom with a spacious two-headed shower serves the floor, and a small desk area provides a convenient space for remote work or planning the day’s adventures.
The middle floor is the heart of the home, designed for gathering and making memories. The living room includes a sofa, loveseat, rocking chair, beanbag, entertainment center, and TV, all set beneath stunning antler chandeliers that give the space a true Alaskan lodge feel. The fully equipped kitchen features a refrigerator, oven and stove, microwave, and coffee bar for slow, cozy mornings. A long dining table seats 10 guests, with two additional chairs available to accommodate everyone comfortably. There is also an additional loveseat and TV in the kitchen area, creating multiple spaces to relax. Down the hall, you’ll find a laundry room with a washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board, along with an attached half bath. Just down a short set of steps is another bedroom with a queen bed, dresser, and luggage rack (no closet). Guests staying in this bedroom have access to a half bath and will need to use the top or bottom restrooms to shower or bathe. The wood stove is not available for fires during the summer months.
The bottom floor is perfect for families with children or teens. One bedroom features two sets of bunk beds that sleep four, with built-in stairs for easy access to the top bunks, along with a dresser, TV, luggage racks, two beanbags, and a game center. This room does not have a closet and is a favorite hangout space for younger guests. Another bedroom on this level includes a king bed, two nightstands, dresser, and closet. A full bathroom with a shower and toilet completes the lower level.
One of the home’s most special features is the large, spacious deck, perfect for enjoying the surrounding wilderness. With outdoor tables for dining and a fire pit for evening gatherings, it’s an ideal space to share meals, tell stories, and take in the crisp Alaska air under the expansive sky. Whether you’re exploring during the day or unwinding at night, this hillside retreat offers space, comfort, and an unforgettable wilderness experience for your next Alaska adventure.
