I am visiting China from the US and I picked this brand due to familiarity and the specific hotel for location/price. I could not have been more pleased. The breakfast buffet had plenty of Chinese food, but also a sprinkling of dishes familiar to an American. The staff at the breakfast, the front desk, and housekeeping were all helpful and polite. I have never stayed in a hotel that I was compelled to tell the housekeeper bye before I left, but she was so nice and friendly that I could not leave without telling her goodbye. I recommend this hotel to anyone.

Rooms are bit smaller than other Holiday Inn Express but it’s conveniently located. Heating was not working so it was a bit cold but the staff were friendly and offered extra blankets. The housekeepers should vacuum the room a bit more. Overall, a great stay and experience.

I chose hotel on basis of reported walking distance from closest metro and driving distance to airport. Both were incorrect and deceptive. I would expect greater honesty from a brand like Holiday Inn. Equally, the overall appearance of the hotel exterior and reception area is significantly different to the photoshopped images on the website. Room was fine, staff were friendly but of all hotels I stayed in China the past two weeks, this was a disappointment because of the misleading advertising. Much better to be honest and manage expectations.

Good location and hotel apart from the thumping

Very good stay, courteous staff and the hotel is in a nice area. The only drawback was a series of thumping noises which began at 4am each morning. I think this was from the market below the room. Avoid the second floor for this purpose if possible but ask for a room with odd numbers up to 09.

I booked long in advance. On arrival I was placed in a smokers room with no windows. The staff did move me the next day. The hotel can make a better effort with signage from the station for foot travellers. The breakfast room seem to be staffed with very senior personal looking like government agents. Very uncommon and unfriendly
