「We were the first guests Jackie had had since Covid for several months. We had a large room on the ground floor with a small ensuite. Breakfast was in the basement room below our room. Breakfast, chosen the night before, was brought to our table. The village centre and beach promenade were within walking distance but due to covid the lift to the beach (35 metres below us) was out of action.」
