「This cabin is wonderful. It had all of the necessities and a few touches that made it homey and comfortable. Right next door is the owners market and grill. It has great food and everyone treats you kindly. I love that this cabin is pet friendly (the owner, Peter, has a heart for animals himself). I look forward to staying here again.」

「The giant windows in the living room are dramatic and luxurious. Beds were comfortable. Carpets and living room furniture are starting to show their age but not bad. Kitchen is adequate but some of the pots and pans are also well used. Shower drains were just a little slow in two of the three. Overall a fantastic place.」

「My family stayed here during our February break for the first time. We wanted to come play in the snow and also have a spacious home to relax in. This house fit the bill! We had cozy fires every night and played board games that we brought with us. We were close to the stores in Shaver and drove to the snow park area everyday (about 15 minutes away). 「The stay was wonderful, how ever I think the house keeping is not keeping up with making sure to dust the window seals for spiderwebs, found a few spiders in Three rooms one In the downstairs bath were two. One in the bedroom downstairs. One in the upstairs bedroom. I know the house is in the mountains. But other than that our stay was wonderful. The shower with the jacuzzi tub a bit hard to get into to take a shower. My wife had a very hard time getting in. I had to assist her getting in and...

「We really love the location of this cabin. A short hike to the lake or 10 min walk to town but we did not hear any commotion from the main road. The layout is the perfect size for 4-6 adults. Cornhole and fire pit area are a nice addition to keep kids occupied. The small heater worked well but it was not too cold outside. Stove, microwave, everything you need. I just had to go get matches because the lighter was out of liquid. A potato peeler or pairing knife would would have been a plus but...

「Cute cabin, quiet location. Shaver lake itself is beautiful but unfortunately the shoreline had a lot of trash. Beer cans, cloths, dirty diaper. Very sad and disappointed with the lake area. Just hung out at the cabin and played games.」

「While the cabin is a lovely place, we have an elderly family member and a blind family member, the path from the driveway into the house is very muddy right now making it uneven, and the walkway is cracked and uneven leading up to the stairs. So while this house was a nice place to stay, it is not recommended if anyone in your party requires ADA accessibility.」

「This place is perfect for small families it is located in a cute quiet neighborhood 10 mins from town. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. A few items need attention. The master shower door doesn’t shut so water leaks.. we had to use several towels to soak up water each time we showered. Also the fridge makes a loud noice when trying to make ice which doesn’t work. The fireplace was very warm and cozy.」
