"The staff were all polite and helpful, although some seemed a little inexperienced. We ate in the restaurant one night, the food was well presented, but the pork belly was over cooked and the chips were over salted. We also asked for the coffee tray to be cleaned & refreshed. Someone had come in, left a large bag of tea/coffee sachets in the room, but not cleaned the cups & tray - I assume they got distracted & didn't finish the job."

"Warm welcome on arrival, although it says hotel entrance on one side of the building, but by the time you’ve walked all the way through, you’re back in the bar! Only one towel in the room but this was quickly sorted once reported. The room was clean, with plenty of hot water, tea & coffee. The only issues we had in the room (no9) was we couldn’t turn the radiator off, so had to have the windows open and then had a lot of road nose, and someone had jammed the shower on maximum heat. Both were reported to maintenance. We had a great evening in the restaurant, but didn’t have breakfast. "

"Good sized quality room in nice location. The owners were very welcoming and friendly, breakfast was excellent. Parking was available and fine, just a little tight but flexible. Excellent for couples needing a base for travel,"

"We unfortunately only had a few nights stay. First time to Sheringham. Would definitely stay again. The view was stunning. Would love to stay longer and explore this part of Norfolk more. Easy access to house, clear instructions. Few things slightly tired and could do with replacing. But great place to stay. "
