「Wonderful stay with great living areas, and kitchen. The views were outstanding and peacefulness of the area replenished our souls. Though another couple was supposed to be with us, it ended up just being my wife and I. Waking up to the sheep and their new lambs was a added bonus. Though the weather was not ideal, gale force winds, driving rain, sleet and hail, it didn't stop us from exploring from this ideal location. We will return someday. It was a wonderful stay.」

Checking in was very easy, the property was lovely and clean, the breakfast was exceptional and lovingly cooked in front of us by Jim and Paulline who were very kind and welcoming. 「We recently spent a week in the Lochsie Cottage. It is very comfortable, well equipped and was spotlessly clean when we checked in. The cottage is a great location from which to explore the Isle of Skye. It is a very short drive into Portree for groceries or restaurants. We found downtown Portree to be congested with people, cars and insufficient parking so it was nice to get away to the solitude offered by the cottage. 「Loved Portree and this hotel. Our only suggestion would be to book dining reservations in advance. We BARELY got in for dinner after trying 5-6 restaurants as a walk-up. And this was early in the season (3rd week of April). The brunch at the hotel is great, but I'd also book that early if you want an early start out on the trails.」
