「Absolutely amazing. The host is out of this world and the most down to earth people you’ll ever meet. The property is super cute and full of farm animals. The sleeping quarters were excellent. The outdoor shower is a neat bonus. We will definitely be back next time we visit the shiner area.Cheers」

「This property was secluded and great for our family all in town for a wedding. The inside was huge. The porch was giant and great for enjoying the outside. We let the children enjoy the cowboy hot tub and they surely did. We had a few local family members show up one evening and grilled hamburgers on the green egg located on the front porch. Fresh meat for Pateks groceries in that green egg made some amazing burgers. The place was clean and huge. Everyone enjoyed the stay. Upstairs the kids...

「We all had a great time ; especially our granddaughters. James and Marty are excellent hosts. They took the time introduce all the animals to our granddaughters including the goats, chickens, turkey, rabbits and peacocks. The girls got to hold and feed a baby peacock. The accommodations were perfect for us. Thanks for the goat milk for Susan’s coffee. We highly recommend staying at the Byrd’s Nest.」
