Beautiful completely remodeled home in the peaceful quaint town of Shipshewana

Your stay at this home is sure to be amazing. You are in the town close to so many things to do. Many shops, restaurants, and the world famous flea market are within walking distance. However, you will also feel the peacefulness of the small horse and buggy town. You can enjoy a campfire and comfortable furniture on the back porch or read a good book you've been wanting to dive into. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for you to enjoy cooking a spectacular meal in a brand new kitchen. Although, you might just want to eat every meal out and enjoy all the famous foods that this small Amish/Mennonite community is know for. You can also walk the pumpkin vine trail or take the bikes to the trail and enjoy a bike ride. There is so much to do within walking distance. You will love this location.

Enjoyed the stay & it was very quiet, the home was immaculate & had everything we needed. Love the small quaint town & liked walking over to the flea market thru the back yard. We hope to come back again sometime with some other family members. It felt like we were at home.

Perfect Location on a Quiet Street
We came into town to enjoy a bike ride and peaceful weekend. The location of this VRBO is perfect ! It is steps away from Downtown Shipshewana and the Blue Gate Cafe while tucked into a quiet neighborhood with well groomed lawns. The house was clean , open floor plan and well stocked kitchen . First floor laundry was nice as was access to the garage to store our bikes. Communication with Christine was quick and pleasant. I would stay here again .

Beautiful House next to everything!
This property was beautiful and exactly as described. The host was very attentive and checked in with us after a huge storm blue through. Kitchen was stocked, water was out and everything was perfect. We were there for the flea market and auction - we stepped out the backyard and it was just steps away. This was a perfect get away spot and we would definitely book in the future!

The property was well-stocked with all kinds of extras, from spices in the kitchen to bikes in the garage. It is ideal if you like being close to the main shopping area. The property owner is very prompt in answering any texts. The one issue that needs to be addressed is how to operate the TV. I know that sounds wild. I have never had difficulty choosing what I would like to watch. A printout with directions would be extremely helpful. Other than the TV, we loved our stay.

Great Place for the Flea Market and Auctions
This house was very clean and laid out well for two adult couples or a small family. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds with plenty of linens. perfectly located for walking to restaurants, downtown and to the flea market (just behind the house). Very relaxing location in a nice neighborhood. Lots of Amish horse and buggy activity which gave the location the feel of being part of the community. Only about 4-5 blocks from the Pumpkinvine Trail for bike riding. Christine was very responsive in communication and supporting our stay. Very good value. We enjoyed our three night there very much.

Anniversary trip
This was our 44th wedding anniversary celebration and it was perfect because of where we stayed. The house was beautifully decorated with all the latest amenities. The location was perfect, just a couple blocks from the Main Street in Shipshewanna. We’ve been to Shipshewanna many times but have never had a more comfortable stay. If we come back again, we will definitely choose this house and and will be telling all our friends about it too. Our thanks to the host for making our stay so perfect.

This was a very nice comfortable place to stay. Supplies were organized and everything was spotless. It was very quiet for sleeping, yet convenient to walk to restaurants and shopping. We loved its location next to the Shipshewana auction buildings.

We booked with friends to spend a weekend in Shipshewana around Christmas. The property is within walking distance to downtown Shipshewana and the Blue Gate Restaurant and Music Hall where we had tickets to a show. The house was very clean and comfortable. Perfect Shipshewana location
This home is just lovely! It is perfectly clean, comfortable and located on a very quiet street within walking distance from downtown. The owners have thought of just about everything to make this house a home and their guests feel comfortable. Christine was very accommodating when we had questions and also provided a folder of Shipshewana attractions. We are looking forward to a return visit and will surely reserve this property again if it is available.

Our stay was perfect! We stayed on a Saturday-Monday and the small town quietness on Sunday was so peaceful for us to just rest and relax with our kids. The house has all the amenities we needed including a yard and plenty of balls :). The home is perfectly decorated, clean and lovely. And maybe we’re just used to our thin apartment rugs in Chicago, but the carpets in this home’s bedrooms felt luxurious to us and was the cherry on top of a wonderful stay.
