Maryborough Motel and Conference Center

2/10 Terrible

"You get what you pay for I guess. Poor water pressure and temperature that fluctuates when other guests are using water. Quite a dated motel with very thin walls which became an issue when the person in the room next to mine woke me up SCREAMING profanities at 3 am. After an hour I finally called 000. I know this is outside of the control of the motel but the walls were so thin the dispatcher when I called asked if the screaming man was in the same room as me. Not exactly the restful night before a big day of driving I was hoping for."

McNevin's Maryborough Motel

"Location wins every time. To have a superb, well priced motel so close to the centre of the city where you can walk and actually see things. Did not have enough time in Maryborough, but will be back to see more and definitely will stay in the same place. Parking spaces a real good size so you can fully open your doors."

"Great little stay tucked away from the busy main road. The whole place looks great. We stayed in the cottage and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was. It's close enough to everything with only a couple mins drive to shops and food. All interactions with staff were good. They were very accommodating. This place is now on top of my list of affordable family accommodation when staying in gympie."

"This is a lovely little country motel - highway one side and railway the other but surprisingly quiet. There was everything a traveller could need - microwave, toaster, cutlery and crockery - even a camp kitchen with a BBQ and Fridge - probably needs a bit of TLC but nonetheless a good facility. There was a new vanity in the bathroom and obviously renovations are underway but not yet finished with lovely new tapware and a fantastic shower head. As with most motels the pillows were not the best and there were no extra pillows in the cupboard. Overall a good stay at a reasonable price."
