The staff was amazing. Parking is a bit complicated as the hotel is right in the town centre but the arrangements work well. Our room was in the old part and could have done with thorough cleaning and some updates. The stairs to the top were quite challenging for us, older people. The dinner and breakfast were wonderful.

The hotel had a old world charm. For example the hot dish for breakfast came direct from the kitchen and not sitting on an hot plate in a buffet. Being an old building the owners clearly have issues and with my bedroom there was an issue with ventilation.

Really good Hotel in the centre of Shrewsbury. From a welcome Sherry on arrival to a fantastic breakfast on leaving, we had a great stay. The room was spacious and clean, barring a rather large cobweb in one of corners. Everything we needed was there.
