“The Cromwells tap house is a great old pub aswell as hotel. When we arrived on a Saturday afternoon, it was packed inside and also in the garden. We dropped our bags in the room which was extremely spacious with the most beautiful 4 poster carved wooden bed that you needed a step ladder to get in to it 😁. “Room was okay but small. The mattress was amazingly comfortable albeit the wooden bed frame was a little creaky.

Had booked a room with a double bed. It was small - more three quarters size.
Room was also small and the bathroom was tiny.
Noise from other rooms adjacent (light switches being turned on) was more than you would expect, and when taps were run or toilets flushed in adjacent rooms it was very loud.
Cooked breakfast was below par - ingredients seemed to be basic/cheap.
Car parking is tight and easy for your car to be blocked in.
