“One of the best stays that I’ve ever had. The property is beautifully designed - like a hidden cache of green, fertile ground in a desert. The staff demonstrated high attentiveness without the overwrought, hammy nonsense that you receive throughout India. Instead, the staff seemed kind and dignified - an attitude commensurate with the beauty of the facility. The hotel advised us, at checkin, that we should not tip anyone until checkout - at which time, the hotel would share our tip across……

“Train was delayed six hours. Arrived at midnight. Friendly welcome. Couldn't be more helpful. Clean and comfortable room. Food available though it's a bit of a mystery where and when. Just ask. Rooftop terrace has a nice view of the Fort and the railway station. Train noise will be an issue for some. It's a 24 hour operation.”
