“Isolated location but convenient for hiking, fishing, etc. Cottages are well constructed and comfortable. Try to get one a bit away from the restaurant. Good choice for younger travelers looking to enjoy the outdoors; not so much for older people with any mobility issues.”

“I really liked the convenience of self check in and out . The room was cute and cozy, it had all that we needed for our stay. It was also a clean space . The common kitchen was also great. Only thing was the slow wifi when we came back after being out , which is understandable since everyone was on it too. Other than that it was a pleasant stay. Had no issues which we didn't have to be in touch with the owners . Will stay here again .”

“The room was tidy but the bedsheets had a cigarette burn on them, and there was a hole on the wall near the floor bigger than a golf ball. The bathroom had brown splatter near the baseboards, and there was dirty paper towels scrunched under the sink. There was also no extra toilet paper other than the one provided. Also the bathroom window didn’t have a screen and the window wouldn’t stay open by itself so we put a bottle to hold it open. The front desk was kind and helpful.”

“Requested a handicapped room and was not given one. Ended up slipping and falling in the shower. Overall was just ok. Wish the would have payed attention to the request for handicap accessibility.”

“Silver Lake is a beautiful location and having cabins to rent on the lake side is pretty special. The cabins are old and rather quirky, but you can over look some inconveniences, like luke warm water, missing chairs for dining, no plugs in the sinks and even a mouse in your room. But when we checked in they charge me for the room even though I had paid for it . I had to find my credit card bill to show I had paid for the room. Once I showed them my credit card statement they refunded the money……

“The grounds are the overgrown, fences coming down , worn out mixed matched cushions on the furniture, the buildings are I need a Repair and they have a metal shed that is taped together. The dresser and nightstand in our room were in bad shape. The best part about the place is the cleaning staff led by Rosa. They are awesome and always ready to help. The reason the property is autonomous is because they would be embarrassed to have people check in. We had stayed there several times prior to the……
