"We had a lovely stay. The house is in out opinion not suitable for 4 adult couples ( 2 bedrooms and 2 double beds in the area upstairs in front of one of the bedrooms) but it was perfect for our family. Philippe is a very helpful and friendly host. Everything you need is in the house available. The area is great for walks, and there are shops and restaurants in villages nearby."

"Die ruhige, idyllische Lage in dem schönen kleinen Dörfchen Rumbach innerhalb herrlicher Natur fern vom Tourismus ist wunderbar! Ganz besonders hatte es uns die so stilvoll und gemütlich renovierte, rundum perfekt ausgestattete Ferienwohnung in dem alten kleinen Fachwerkhäuschen angetan und der sehr nette herzliche Kontakt mit den Gastgebern! Wir sind dankbar für die erholsame Auszeit und kommen baldmöglichst wieder:-)"

"We had the most amazing stay here! The view was beautiful, the beds were so comfortable, and the house was equipped with everything we could ever need. Peter was a gracious host, he surprised us with welcome treats and very responsive with any questions we had. There were quite a few stairs to get the home, but don’t let it deter you. We plan to return to the area again and would love to stay here again! "

"We booked the place for a girl weekend in the nature. The cabinet is pleasant, well equiped and the jaccuzi is fantastic. We found all the ustensils that we need and we were close by many possibilities to have activity in the nature. The whole Vosges du Nord area offers a lot."

"We spent a week with 3 generations gathering from several locations in the world to celebrate Christmas. The house was perfect for our group - private rooms for all, plenty of space to allow for gatherings and private time, well-equipped as we cooked almost every meal, and the billiard room was a favorite for lots of fun and laughter! Romantik Hotel Landschloss Fasanerie

"We (family of 4 + dog) have stayed here overnight every year on our way to the south and we love it! Beautiful location (garden, woods, quiet, water feature), yet Zweibrücken’s excellent shopping outlet is just 2 minutes away by car. The rooms are comfortable and our dog was allowed to join us for dinner and breakfast (as an observer). There are two restaurants, but best to reserve a table in advance as the venue is often used for weddings (being a picturesque location). Highly recommended, and we shall return next summer!"

Schlossberg Hotel Homburg

"A wonderful hotel with a view that could not be matched in the area. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was a godsend as it was quite warm outside. The view from the terrace should not be missed. The property is a stone’s throw from old castle ruins (free) and an underground sandstone quarry (there is an admission fee), as well as a short walk from the old town. Full disclosure: the hotel is on the top of a hill. While the walk into town was all downhill and relatively easy, the walk back up to the hotel could be viewed as somewhat strenuous."

"I was extremely happy with my stay at Hotel Landgrafen-Mühle. My room was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and reasonably priced. The hotel is very well run, and the staff was super helpful and friendly (and English speaking). Picturesque property, best schnitzel I had in Germany, and wonderful quiet. I left feeling calmed and recharged. A true gem, and I couldn’t recommend it more."

"After 1300hrs on a Sunday, check-in is bua a machine in a lobby off the car park, I met staff who were on their wst out and they were helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable, clean but basic. The price paid seems fair. Breakfast is an additional €14.90, the selection was very good and food quality is excellent. "
