「Property is on the outskirts of Bancroft at the north end of the town. Room was clean and comfy but a little dated. I could tell the new owners are trying to rejuvenate the facility. Lots.of sand in the parking lot which gets tracked into the buildings. It was an old experience.」

「We stayed two nights. The washrooms and showers were very clean and well kept. There were plenty of bbq's for even the busiest of times. Aside from bringing your own food they have everything you could possibly need. Very friendly and welcoming environment. Would definitely consider staying again. 」

「This property was a very clean space. It was perfect for our couple getaway. We really appreciated the comfortable king size bed and over sized soaker tub. It had everything we needed. Lovely location. We wish we could have stayed longer.」

「The only issue is the single washroom located at the 2nd floor. It would have been better if there is a powder room or another washroom at the main floor.Also, the vanity sink at the washroom is always clogging. But over all the place is good.」

「I stayed here for a work trip, the cottage was well stocked with every day items like cooking supplies. The yard and patio is really lovely and has grill, seating area, firepit, and play area for kids. Lots of nice amenities for relaxing. The location was very convenient to downtown Bancroft. I appreciated the security cameras around the property, I felt safe despite being in a more remote area. I had several questions for the host prior to my trip, he was very responsive. Thanks!」

「We are a group of friends who have been getting together for canoe trips and winter trips for over 40 years. We are now age 60 plus. We booked this cottage as a central location for our travels. We thoroughly enjoyed the cottage and the location. The owner, Sean, made sure we had all we needed to make our weekend successful and gave us detailed instructions about the workings of the building and grounds. He was flexible with arrival/departure times and quite accomodating. Communication was great...
