My husband and I stayed at Coconut Walk Apartment for 10 days in September. We had a wonderful stay. We were welcomed warmly by the owner, Cheron. The apartment was spacious and clean. It was equipped with everything that we needed. The view of the ocean and the estuary was very relaxing and restful. The sound of the waves or the birds was wonderful! The local beach was too rough for most swimmers, but Miami Beach was a short drive away and beautiful. Oistins was also a short drive away and we were able to find excellent meals and a grocery. Cheron also prepared two meals for us, the Baked Chicken Dinner and the Traditional Bajan Sunday Lunch. Both were full of flavour and were beautifully presented. Cheron kept in touch with us over our stay and we would now consider her a friend. We will definitely visit again on our next visit!Thanks so much for making our Bajan Escape wonderful!

Our stay at this beachfront apartment in Barbados was absolutely amazing! The view was breathtaking, the space was clean and comfortable, and every detailed made us feel right at home. The host was incredible kind, attentive, and welcoming. The host thought of everything - from sunscreen and moisturizer to delicious cooking and refreshing rum punch upon arrival. The shower felt like a spa experience, and waking up to the sound of the was waves was pure bliss. This wasn't just a stay - it was heartfelt welcome to paradise. Barbados, we will come back and stay at this apartment again for sure.

The best vacation we had

Beautiful apartment next to the sea

We loved our stay. The apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated with all the amenities you could want. A beautiful view with a balcony ovetlooking the beach. The hosts Cheron and Walwen were very friendly. I wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Apartment!

This property is one you should not miss !Cheron thinks of everything to make your stay enjoyable…. It is a beautifully presented apartment with two large bedrooms, and the fittings are all first class !Only 2 minutes walk to the beach to watch the kite surfing and a 3/4 minute walk to take the bus into Oistins or Bridgetown….. Cheron will also make you delicious food to order which you can eat on the terrace overlooking the nature reserve and beach . Great Stay in Silver Sands

We had a great stay and would highly recommend the apartment for anyone looking to stay in the Silver Sands area. Cheron is an excellent host and the flat itself is well appointed, super clean, spacious and unobstructed views of Silver Sands beach. Cheron communicated well with us and was very helpful and accommodating. Looking forward to spending some more time here when next we're in the island.

Our host Cheron truly understands the essence of hospitality. Although we stayed for just one night, she ensured that we had everything we could possibly need, even going so far as to bring us groceries for breakfast. The apartment is tastefully decorated and is perfectly equipped for an extended stay, featuring all the modern conveniences one could desire. Cheron and spouse were amazing host ..Cheron was always there if and when we need anything. She recommended a wonderful driver to take us around safely . Just what we needed and what a view

After a busy holiday, for our final three days we chose this area mainly for its proximity to the airport but the property offers perfect relaxation and a beautiful, quiet beach two minutes walk away. It is well equipped with extra touches that we would not necessarily have expected. Cheron was so welcoming and helpful, we would not hesitate to recommend Coconut Walk Apartment.

Wonderful host who couldn’t help enough. Clean and high quality apartment. Big kitchen. Location is a little far out from Bridgetown and a car is a must. There is a good surf bar in walking distance. No supermarket within walking distance.

Home from home

Well what can we say ! FANTASTIC, Cheron and Walwen are the perfect hosts, we stayed at Coconut Walk for 4 weeks the location and the apartment are ideal with the beach 1 minute walk away, Cheron is always on hand to help with any questions. We did hire a car and it was delivered to the apartment, we can’t thank Cheron enough for all she done for us and we hope to return in the future, if you are looking for a home from home this is it. An experience to remember!

We stayed at Cheron and Walwens place for 9 days during our honeymoon. It was the best experience we have ever had at a VRBO. Communication and check in with Cheron was easy. The place was immaculate, comfortable and right across the street from the beach. Cheron welcomed us with delicious rum punch and fresh cut plants from her beautiful garden. Cheron kept in touch the entire time and would routinely update us on WhatsApp where to go during the day and also places to park if going into town. As others have mentioned it’s a bit outside the touristy areas but we actually enjoyed that aspect. We rented a car and had no problem getting to any of the activities we had planned and it was nice to come home to a quiet place outside the hustle and bustle. We are already missing drinking coffee on the balcony and watching the sunrise over the ocean. We can’t wait to come back!

The apartment is spectacular: recently renovated, beautiful architecture with a cathedral high wooden ceiling, large size rooms and easy-to-use appliances. The kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped. The living room has a great audio-video setup. The place is very clean and everything is in good working order. There is ample parking and a glorious garden equipped with an outdoor shower to get rid of the beach sand. There is a beautiful view from the living room and balcony of the beach and park. The host and their 2 dogs are amazingly welcoming. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

Our hosts were fantastic. Cheron and Walwen made themselves available for anything that we needed. They provided great recommendations on things to do and places to eat. Having such gracious host made this trip even better. The location was also very nice. We were on the more residential side of the island, but we loved it. You could see the beach from the balcony which was great to enjoy every morning with a cup of coffee or in the evenings with a glass of Cheron’s delicious rum punch. There is a bus right down the street that took us anywhere we could’ve wanted to go and it felt like we got a better experience than we would have at any type of resort on the other side of the island. My group will definitely be back and this is where we will stay!

Heavenly Stay at Cheron and Walwen’s beachfront Gem

From the moment we arrived, Cheron and Walwen made us feel incredibly welcomed with their warmth and attentiveness. The apartment exceeded all our expectations—spotlessly clean, supremely comfortable, and equipped with everything we could possibly need, including a pitcher of Cheron’s delicious Bajan rum punch! Each main room had its own air conditioner, which was a blessing, because every day was in the upper 80s. The location is quiet and off the beaten path, directly across from the beach! The views from the balcony and my bedroom window were great—it felt like we had our very own private beach! We stayed for 12 nights and not once did we feel anything less than completely at home. I would absolutely recommend Cheron and Walwen’s place to anyone looking for a serene beach getaway. I’m already planning my return! 🤗 Cheron and Walwen, thank you for making my first trip to Barbados so comfortable and memorable!

15th Anniversary celebrated in Paradise!

Beautiful clean and well-equipped, luxurious apartment on top level of the house in the wonderful location of Silver Sands, close to the town of Oistins. Large bedroom with a very comfortable bed and a very large wardrobe with plenty of hanging room as well as drawers. Bathroom has great shower. Amazing view of the ocean (only about 150 feet away ) from the bedroom and living room windows and from the spacious balcony with table and chairs. The hostess, Cheron was amazing! On top of being warm, friendly, and helpful, she had thought of everything and more. She went above and beyond, to ensure we had the most enjoyable and memorable 15th Wedding anniversary, by arranging lots of extra fun surprises when we went to restaurants and other events recommended by her! We have been to many VRBO’s during the last few years and this has been our best experience by far, due to all her personal touches! We will definitely be returning in the near future! We would highly recommend this vacation experience!

Paradise!

Cheron and Walwen, the owners of Coconut walk apartments are two of the most amazing people you will ever have the chance to meet! From the first moment of booking the beautiful apartment, they made us feel like we are family and not clients! Up until this holiday my wife and I always played safe and went into a resort, we decided to try something different in beautiful Barbados and we found Coconut walk apartment. The apartment is wonderful and more than worthy of any 5 stars, the location is in a very beautiful and quiet part of Barbados with a beautiful beach just metres from your front door. Im not sure i can articulate many words to describe how wonderful Cheron and Walwen, your every need is catered for, if you have a problem, they go out of their way to help solve it. Their aim is to make sure you have an experience of a life time, and believe me, that is what you have. Thank you Cheron and thank you Walwen for making our stay with you the best experience we have had yet on an overseas holiday! We will be back and back again after that, this we promise as we have now found our paradise!

Amazing Stay, Lovely Host

We had a wonderful time at this apartment. We were four adults who enjoy cooking, and her kitchen was both pristine and quite well-stocked. A big plus was the air conditioners in all major rooms. We also appreciated the high-speed wi-fi, and the partial view and proximity of the ocean. There is also a very nice park adjacent to the beautiful beach. The occasional downpour of rain on the tin roof was a special treat! I want one!! Cheron made herself available for any needs--mainly we were missing baking dishes, and she brought us exactly what we needed. Said she would have cooked for us herself if we'd wanted! We tried to be very gentle on the place, as it was clear she is picky about cleanliness, which is great. The place is spotless, and the germ-averse need not worry, at all. Thanks, Cheron, for a remarkable stay, which turned out to be quite economical for four. Absolutely delightful in every way.

Coconut Appartment -Silver Sands

Cheron's and Walwen's propery is as advertised: luxury, elegant, very well maintained. Super clean and comfortable, what you will call "home away from home" . The appartment is equiped with everything you possiblly need and and even more: coffee machine, beach towels, ACs in every room. No issues with any of the appliaces during stay. Appartment is located in a quiet tranquil area, has beatiful balcony overlooking Silver Rock beach and Silver Sands Recreation park. Even the beach is more suitable for wind or kite surfing then swimming but still very nice for a walk or picknic, and observing surfers. Cheron is an amazing host, very very helpfull, responsive to all our needs, with helpfull information about the area. There were snacks, drinks and rum puch (delicious) in a fridge as a welcome gift. Silver Sands is perfect area: close to the airport, Oustins, St. Lawrence Gap , nice beaches and surf points/schools for beginners. If there is a car- you can't think of a better place. We didn't have a car, used public transportation (ZR buses) and taxi still were good. Cheron's and Walwen's appartment is highly recommended, we would definetely revist it.

A Peaceful Paradise

I was looking for a peaceful paradise where I could forget all about work, bills and all the troubles of the world for a few weeks and I found it right here at the Coconut Walk Apartments. The location was perfect, off the beaten track but still close to beach, local store, buses and town. My host, Cheron, was simply wonderful. Her cooking was marvellous and her helpful advice greatly appreciated. Also, the chilled rum punch left in the fridge on my arrival was GREATLY appreciated. I am always a little worried when booking a holiday apartment online that the apartment might not live up to the pictures online. Not here! The apartment was better in real life than the pictures! It had everything you could wish for except a dish washer (I just used my hands). The apartment itself is fabulous with comfortable beds, a modern bathroom and a fridge stocked with enough food/drink to get a weary traveller throught the first day or two on arrival. The location was perfect for my morning and evening walks along the beach which was about a 2 minute walk from the apartment. The days were spent mostly on the balcony with views of the sea, beach and park listening to the waves crashing against the seashore. For 3 weeks I was truly in paradise. Big thank you's to my hosts (Cheron & Walwen) for making my stay unforgettable. Would I come back - hell yes. Will I come back - definitely.
