「Great place to stay for quiet evenings! 」

「I wasn’t really keen on the compost toilet and the shower only stayed warm for a min. The toilet is on me since another has commented before. It’s pretty tiny and I didn’t expect the no oven, but on me since I didn’t pay attention. They did have electric portable stove. So they did pretty well to compensate for the things you might need!」

「We’ve been coming to salt spring for about 10 years or more. While the resort is not as nice as it used to be, at no fault of the hosts, our stay at his cottage was the best experience we’ve had. He made we had everything we needed and more and took pride in making our stay enjoyable despite the weather and resort issues not related to his cottage. 「Mary was a great host and everything was as advertised. Very family friendly park. Nearby springs are great for swimming with the kids. Overall 5+ stars. Will be back!」

「Very peaceful, wonderful screen porch watching boats go by and listening to the waves lapping. Nice boardwalk through the grounds with interesting flora. I have to agree with others that the bed was not the most comfortable, however, we brought padding that we use for camping and it was much better. The bed was the only con, and the pros far outweigh that, especially since you can make it more comfortable. Really enjoyed the seclusion and quiet. We will come back!」

「The bed was not made the mattress cover was more then disgusting a blanket as thin as the sheets I had to put on the nasty bed bath tub was dirty toilet dirty full can of trash in the bathroom kitchen counters had stuff smeared all over them floors didn't look like they had been cleaned or swept in a very long time 1/2 roll of tp very disappointed the lake was great very pretty but would not rent one of those places again I took some pic but the bed was nasty!!!!!」

「Clean Cabin and Friendly Staff」

「The view is amazing, but the rest not so much. I would have preferred an additional seat other than the futon, it was very uncomfortable. Although empathized "no smoking", someone had smoked in the trailer and there was even an ashtray on a table in the living room. I saw roaches and a sock in the living room. I checked out after one night.」

「We stayed for 4 weeks, in March. The full time residents were friendly and welcomed us to their recreational activities. Our cabin was older but well maintained. Management was on site and available by phone. There was a swimming area nearby in the national forest but was closed at the time.」

「House was very clean. Some shampoo… some soap and toothpaste supplied. Kitchen supplies…condiments , clothes detergent, toilet paper… you will need to buy. For any home in Villages… it would be good to better understand the golf cart paths… give more instruction. We used the maps app on our phone and put in for 🚲 since carts and bike paths are shared in The Villages. It took a a day or two to figure that out… not all roads are golf cart friendly. Mark was great about switching out the bikes...
